I've found myself surprised with how often my teammates listen when I point at something.

Most of the time, if I point at a gen, they're on it. If I point at a gate, they stay on it. If I point in a direction, more often than not, they start running.

The highlight was when a David with autodidact healed me fresh off the hook. I see Jake with Empathy, and point in his direction-- off in the distance and hidden by a building.

After a moment of hesitation, David runs off to the direction I was pointing. About 20 seconds later, Jake gets healed.

I don't know if people just trust the old guy, but I've gotten some mileage out of the 'ol pointer. Anyone else?

    Usually, yes. Except people who insist on breaking totems they shouldn't break.

    Yes, break this middle of the map totem in an indoor map, so you can heal yourself once. Let's ignore the fact I'm telling you to let go so I can place my 4 totems combination in the middle of the map for everyone so our chances of surviving collectively go up automatically.

    I did it once and was pleasently surprised. Match against Nemmi and all the gens were done. We were all still alive and three of us already settlet in front of a gate. I 99 the gate when the fourth on got captured. Of course I wanted to rescue them. A probably new Claudette just opened the gates and I was a bit salty that moment, because I thought they'd just leave and leave the last survivor behind. That was the point were I pointed to the hook.

    I was very surprised when the others actually startet to run towards it.

    Our meg hook exchanged, sadly she was on death hook, but the rest of us could escape.

    Sometimes they do. A simple point somewhere can do wonders even in solo.
