BVHR really wants killer mains to quit this game...
people think killer got buffed or else, but it's even worse than ever.
just do a single freaking match in high MMR and you realize how gens are so fast, maps are so big and m1 killers are so slow. just do 1 chase and you'll see how much fast gens get popped by the other 3 people.
and don't start with the SOLOQ thing, i know this is a SWF sided game, i feel the soloq pain too, but once you meet a SWF, this game is busted. you become a plaything for survivors.
i'm honestly tired to play a match and having to rely on tunneling or camping to get 1-2 kills per match because of this ridiculous gen speed and this huge map size
no wonder everyone plays NURSE and BLIGHT.
i'll say it again, BVHR is doing everything to pamper survivors (profits-wise) and doing everything to make the killer main players to definitely abandon this bs game.
DBD used to be fun once, now it's all about sweating, tryharding and getting stressed to get just one kill. how disappointing.

i'm pretty sure i'm high MMR, i've 4000 hours in this game and played killer regulary since wesker release. after the disappointment of wesker, i started playing this game very less and less. i just reopened it today and i still get 5000-6000 hours profiles SWFs, tryharding the crap out of this game like their houses were at stake xD so yeah, i pretty figured out i'm high MMR.

this game doesn't deserve a skill system, it's not competitive, it's not like CS GO or LoL. do you wanna win this game? play SWF with 2-3 people having common sense and you get a guaranteed victory. pathetic

This game could have 60min gens and killers would still rely on camping and tunneling

i disagree. if this game was better balanced, you wouldn't feel the urge to tunnel and camp, and 10 seconds BT basekit wouldn't be an issue in the first place. just admit this game is busted.

The problem is this game is imposible to balance, without making a enormous rework.
You have SWF, which are strong as f, and soloQ which are the most punished being in all dbd. You cant buff/nerf either because it would make the other strong or unplayable.
In killers you have absolute monsters like nurse and blight, and then you have trappers and myers which cant kill anything if they dont bring their 200% and iri addons.
There is no way bhvr could balance this

Yup, pretty much a case of, adapt....until you adapt too much and become competent. Besides, with all the gen regression perks, aura reading perks, exposure perks and killers being given a boost to their base....don't you feel 'pampered'?
Let me be clear, I don't have an issue with the changes made, I never used the 'meta' perks, i do well with a utility build, and I can learn to work around the new changes to killer. I'm just unsurprised and frankly uninspired that not even a month or so in and we're back to "Developers baby survivors and killers don't get a fair shot"
Perhaps change the record and do what we as survivors have been told to do since these changes became apparent.

I think you just need to play a stronger killer. Big maps have always been a problem. Killer DID get stronger, but you still have to actually put in effort. Don't play Doctor or something on a map like mother's dwelling and then come here complaining. AT LEAST play a killer that has some good map mobility before you give up

You're right. Playing killer is tiring, exhausting and not much fun. I played killer from 2016 to 2019, up to rank 1 at the time, and then switched to Survivor. Playing survivor is significantly more relaxing, rewarding and fun. I only play killer when I can't avoid it due to progress in rift. Otherwise, I play survivor or watch streamers playing Killer on high MMR.Ā And it's clear that they often suffer.Ā
Swf who play together more often >> Killer
Killer > average solo q
Newbie killer > newbie survivor

I have to chime in. I'm a killer main, I play a good rotation of killers. I still have fun playing any of them regardless of going against swf or solos.
I have fun, because I don't care whether I win or lose. I just do the best I can and play how I want, usually by what the match dictates. This game is too random to think you will win every game or lose every game.
Sure some killers are better than others, sure swf is stronger than solo. At the end of the day, it's just a game. Win some lose some. I get people want to win. I just find I have more fun not caring about that and playing the best I can.
Just remember, win and lose with dignity.

Not an issue for me bro sitting in queue for 4 minutes just to get a full prestige 50 SWF squad I stomp, its hard games but its how it should be probably at high MMR

The game needs 4x as many survivors as it does killers, Iād be surprised if the incentive wasnāt naturally on survivor most of the time simply because of that.

It really is a complete fallacy that BHVR want survivors or killers to quit the game.
Basically it sounds like you have peaked ability wise and have hit a wall. That's not BHVR's fault really.
I wish the MMR was more consistent too but if you aren't pressuring gens well or chasing efficiently you don't have to be at high MMR to get creamed by even slightly organised survivors.
I hit that wall too and it can feel like you have to eat a lot of losses to get back to manageable games, often only taking one or two wins to get back into the sweats.
You used to be able to just go for BBQ stacks and still walk away feeling accomplished but now you just have to eat a bunch of losses to reset things.

Honestly? Still you are ingame and can play. Most of the time in my solo q's, i sit on the ground or on a hook. And then i dont even get bloodpoints.

I agree with that. I don't think we need to buff killers in general anymore, some killers needs to be looked. Sadako is one of them for an example.

This has just been disproven. The threshold for high mmr is a surprisingly small number. Keep condescending to killers.

The biggest problem with the game is they don't seem to factor in most of the killers when they design a map. Garden of Joy is the newest map and is borderline unplayable for most of the killers. It's not a skill issue. If you're playing in high MMR and are against survivors that are roughly your skill level, the only way to win with someone like Nemesis is to hope for an early down and then hard tunnel them out of the game and hope they don't blast through three gens while you're doing that.

I'm not saying purposefully tank your mmr or go afk or anything like that, I'm just saying we all hit that wall.
So just play it out be ready to eat a few losses before you get back to a balanced match.

I mean if he really is playing an m1 killer in high mmr, what can he do? You get pretty much any coldwind map you are screwed. The survivors just have to split and play efficiently. If all survivors are playing optimally how does an m1 killer deal with it. Survivors can and will bring everything at their disposal to win. If survivors are genuinely good players on good maps then there is no reason to go down to a good portion of the low-mid tier cast before 3 gens pop, that's just how it is.
Though to be clear at least for the last 6 months, bhvr has not been pampering survivors. Though also to be fair they were for the 6 months before that lol.

So much of this. It's so exhausting trying to learn a new killer that's lower on the tier list. If 3 or 4 survivors escape (even with multiple 2 hooks) they start talking trash in endgame.
Which is so weird because these comments do two things:
1. Encourage meta killers that are high a and s.
2. Encourage camping and tunneling to make sure at least 2 people die.

Killer is definetely more rewarding than survivor. I only think survivor can be more rewarding if you loop killer 5 gens. I do suffer more as survivor than killer but the thing is you can always blame your team being bad that's why you lost but as killer you can't blame someone else.

Where you live? In europe at least there is never incentives for killer it's always 100% for survivors. It can drop to 50-25% sometimes for one match but that pretty much it. Today though happened "miracle" I had 100% for killer 2 matches. I made sure to use it and then it went back for survivor 100%. If the ratio would be 1 to 4 then there would not be bonus for either side and you would not have to wait in queque usually as killer. The ratio is something like 1 to 3 now probably that's my quess.

I don't have an issue with his play style. I just think it's ridiculous to trot out the "Devs favor survivors" horse that has already been shot twice, beaten, rolled down a hill, and then beaten some more over the last few years. We are continuously told to adapt, so we do, and we still get blamed for 'abusing mechanics' instead of maybe some killers realising they have to adapt too in order to get better results.

I do 8 hooks and only kill when EGC.
If they are equal to me, I get 1-3K and stay around mid low MMR. Give hatch to prevent gain MMR too high.
If they are far worse than that (8 hooks and only 1-2 Gen done) I will kill them all because their skill is too far lower than me I should gain up.
As killer I can totally control my MMR to keep my games fun. Except playing Trapper in Eryie Crow.

I do not agree. Playing survivor is much more rewarding if you take criteria like fun, interaction, simplicity, points per time factor, stress level, exhaustion, etc.

Honestly just sounds like a skill issue, but for real this time. The game is heavily survivor sided at higher levels. You do not magically skill out of it. You can look up tournament play if you do not believe me, and yes, that trickles down. No, it does not happen every game. But when the survivors are solid, you are not going to be doing much.
Crying about gen speeds? Ha ha ha... Sorry.

What are you talking about "Just been disproven" are you talking about the Choy video where he stated that MMR goes all the way to 3000, but as soon as you're over 1600 everyone after that is matched together, and most of the top streamers are around 2000 - 2200 mmr? It's the complete opposite of what you think it is.

This might be a skills issue. Many killers are finding more success at all levels of the game since the changes. However, the underlying issue of highly coordinated, highly skilled survivors will be difficult to beat without a similar skill and strategic management of the map. Record your games, I would guess you'd see opportunities to improve.
