What's the point of Bloodied Blueprint for survivor?
What's the point of this offering for survivors? I would think it's in my favor when the basement does not spawn and I'm just doing the killer a favor by bringing it?
Is it to make sure the guaranteed chest spawns?
What is up with this? Is it a leftover from a bygone era? I've never seen anyone (ok maybe once) use it. It's a waste of BP.
I've only been playing for a little bit over a month.

To force basement in a certain spot, like in badham, where main building downstairs is a bastard to chase someone at, since there's no hooks there at all, unless basement spawns, optimal option is to slug them if boil over

Basement ALWAYS spawns
It's either in the shack, or in the main building
Using the offering you are 100% sure of where it spawned
But yeah, wasted bloodpoints and useless offering anyway

Knowing where the basement spawned means you can avoid running towards it in chase, that's the only real use case I can think of for it.
It's not that useful, but while offerings do need a massive overhaul, I think it's one of the ones that can probably stay.

Ok so basically you bring an offering to spawn it in Killer Shack and then main building downstairs is safe? Is that it?
Still, wouldn't it need to be a bit coordinated? Like someone else brings a Map offering? All alone it sounds a bit useless as you have no idea what map you'll get if you're playing on your own.

You'll find that many of the offerings and addons are basically a waste of bloodpoints. They just pile up in your inventory even though you'll never use them.

Yeah, I get them cause it's inevitable. I wish I could trade them or something.

Honestly, there are many things in this game that are basically useless when you're playing alone, but which can become useful (or even powerful) if people are playing together on coordinated teams. That's just the way it is.

As another poster said, it's to force the basement spawn in a particular place so you can avoid going down there in chase. Say for instance it's a Hag on Coal Tower and someone played the Bloodied Blueprint. If I'm in a chase on shack side, I'll take a 15 second chase and run to the corner of the map rather than risk a 30-40 second chase near shack/basement, because it's GG if I go down near basement against that killer.

survivors use it to bully with no mither/exponential/boil over/sabo/yadda yadda
killers use it to camp at 5 gens
its pretty strong sometimes

I actually think that those offerings should be secret... Just saying
