Playing DBD makes my PS4 sound like a jet

My PS4 is getting old at this point but no other game I'm currently playing makes my PS4 as loud as DBD does. It's lying flat and has plenty of room on all sides to vent. Does anyone have any success with lessening the noise or should I resign to my fate until I can get a PS5?

    Are your air vents clear of dust? Had this problem on a PC before, vacuumed it out and not only did the noise stop my fps improved drastically, it was probably overheating.

    Clean your PS 4 fan and heat sink from all the accumulated dust and replace the thermal paste. The paste gets hard and dry and loses its effectiveness fairly quick. Theres a ton of Youtube videos on how to do it. You will need 1 or 2 special tools which can be found on Amazon for pretty cheap. This will take care of that problem.

    My PC too screams when DBD is open. It doesn't do that with other bigger and more demanding games in terms of Graphics. I noticed that it gets louder when I'm spending points on the bloodweb for more than 5 levels at a time.
