Dead Hard Discussion
I've seen countless posts on this forum complaining about the recently nerfed DH and it got me thinking..
What if the DH rework went the opposite direction?
Meaning, they removed the endurance, but kept the dash.
Would that be more balanced? You could still use it for distance and the timing would be more generous, but no crazy tanked hits/third health state...
Let me hear your thoughts on this and the current state of Dead Hard below.

I never really used it, but going by the name of it alone, it's current state seems fitting 'Dead Hard'. The complaints seem mainly due to the apparent rise of cheaters using it automatically, and not the players who can actually time it. I think the dash was one of the original issues with it, too easy to use it to make distance last second to reach that pallet/vault, or the combo of having endurance and a dash.

It should be "Dead" without the hard, I.E. deleted and replaced with a perk that's actually well-designed

"Dead" perk. Every time you use it, you get instantly downed.

I think dead hard should be reverted, remove the i-frames and make it so that you slowdown slightly after using it meaning you can't running vault a window which gives the killer the opportunity to hit them if they are looping a window. You could still use it the same way to vault a pallet but i think that's okay because you can break pallets and dissolution exists.

No. That is what made DH so broken in the first place, the fact you could just press a button to correct a mistake on a loop to counter a basic attack wasnt fair...
Current DH is so very strong still, while it's harder to use you actually get the benefit of a speed boost on hit.
If you cant use the current DH that's on you, you arent forced to use the perk but if you learn how to it's still stupidly strong in the right hands

tho i made a post complaining about current dead hard i would still take 4 of it every lobby if i have to as long as dead hard for distance never comes back.
the perk should just get another purpose entirely and the idea if pressing a button to dodge a hit should never be taken into consideration ever again in dbd.
