Ace's Splashin' the Pot Cosmetic
Ace got this really cool purple shirt with poker chips all over it (I think in Tome/Rift II) a little bit before I started playing DBD. Is this ever getting added back? I know they have added some of the cosmetics from past Tomes/Rifts to the store, but they haven't done this one yet. I figured there was a chance when they added the two torso only non-tome/rift Claudette and Dwight cosmetics a few months ago, it at least shows they are still interested in singular cosmetics, but I feel like maybe BHVR forgot about this one?
Does anyone have info of them mentioning it anywhere since? Can any devs or mods with dev contacts shed light on if it is ever coming back?

Yeah like I said, I would pay for it, it sucks that I can't have the Ace cosmetic I like the most. Should have gotten into the game sooner I guess lol

So far, they've only added the three-piece outfits to the shop. The Rift is almost 3 years old now, so there's lots of precedent that this will stay exclusive. Even though all of those items are recolors, it's always a bit of a bummer.
Which 2 dwight & claudette items are you talking about btw? Are you sure they were from a Rift?

Oh I saw that one the other day, I didnt know it was exclusive, I am learning that there are more than one that are single cosmetics people want added back

Nah, I was talking about the dog walker ones, they aren't from a rift but they at least showed BHVR was still willing to release single piece items.

I think the fast and loose idea is, any cosmetics from the rift will be in the store in a year. Don't think that means to the day, could be some on the 12th month, some the month after to spread it out, ect.
I'm not sure what rift they decided to start doing this, and not sure if they would automatically include all cosmetics from previous rifts, but if it hasn't been in the store in a couple years, it may never be. Shame, thats a nice shirt, and I main Ace :(
Side note, you used the word Tome, and I was saying rift. So I wasn't sure if you were just saying tome instead of rift, sometimes people use them interchangeably, or if this cosmetic wasn't actually in the rift like I assumed, and it was a cosmetic that would actually be earned in a page of tome challenges like they've been doing recently with event tomes for Halloween and stuff. If thats the case, I don't think cosmetics from such tomes will ever be in the store. I could be misinformed, but thats my understanding of event tome cosmetics limited to that tome only.

I think the things from event tomes will be put into the store, or at least the full outfits will. In past Rifts, David & Nurse's blighted/halloween outfits were on there, and then added to the store just in time for Halloween. They did that for some ugly sweaters too, when they were accessed by codes during the advent calender thing they had.
I think it's extremely likely that Mikaela's witch Halloween outfit from the Midnight Grove event would be put into the store for the Halloween season of 2022. As far as I know, it's her version of the Vigo/Blighted/Halloween outfit with Event rarity. It'll be a year old by that time, and then they can charge an individual price for it, instead of making it challenge-based.
For the Haddie & Dredge outfits, idk. They're not just neat recolors like Claudette, Slinger, David, and Wraith had from years 4 & 5. They're very unique and cool models. Plus the fact that Haddie and Dredge have very few items as it stands, they might actually return if BHVR knows it will sell.

Yeah, I guess time will tell. I'd think the masquerade stuff won't since the 4th and 5th-anniversary stuff never went to the store. For last years halloween stuff, I'd think its either this halloween or not at all for the store. I wish they'd stay out of the store, but even if they don't, its still stuff we didn't have to end up buying. I know they avoid doing exclusives (mostly), but I like the idea of having stuff that shows how long you've been playing. But I guess event-tome unlockable cosmetics is a relatively new thing. I think last halloween was the first possibly? So if that's the case, and they are going with the "in the store when its a year old" like they do with the rifts, we're not quite there yet so we'll see this October. I mean either way for me. If they keep it an "exclusive' to the event, cool. If not, at least it's a cosmetic we got for free.

Yeah Rift is the word I should be using, but it was out during the rift that came with Tome II. As for the other stuff I am not sure, part of me feels like they just forgot about or figured people wouldn't care about the single cosmetics because they haven't really done them in ages. Them keeping them exclusive would also be fine, but it would be a little dissapointing.

I don't really expect that the crowns will ever reappear, maybe the masquerade masks, if anything, but the 4th and 5th year crowns for sure won't and that's okay. But something like a recolor I feel like has a better chance.

I get not returning charms to some kind of store because they should be exclusive but hopefully all the sing piece items do return at somepoint.

Yeah it seems somewhat consistent, maybe a few oddball ones here and there, but for the most part it is exactly a year. Then again that one pink and blue Feng recolor set from Tome/Rift II only recently got added so I have no idea. Maybe they are slowly working through them all, from my understanding old Rifts had way more random cosmetics in general. I can promise at least 1 sale if it comes back though lol!

Yeah stuff like that I understand not coming back; Crowns, Charms, etc. Before I figured they would add it eventually but they haven't added any of the single piece cosmetics and haven't had single piece ones in a rift for ages.

I sure hope the Haddie and Dredge outfits come back for sale. The yare new characters and have next to nothing for cosmetics
