Is it just me or are people lagging alot more
I would notice that people would walk into walls and teleport or I would slam into someone as wesker and I would slide off then to learn they were never there
Anyone else notice things like this

i played a match yesterday where a adam had 600 ping and was all over the place, it was not particularly fun at all. I have noticed a dramatic increase, pre-update i was getting games with people 40-80 now most of my games yesterday was over 100.

I've seen a few Killers lag out today and I've had unusually high ping in random matches where the icon is popping up for me on the left above the team UI

I'm personally very laggy recently whereas I wasn't before. My internet is fine and it runs great on any other game, it's just that DBD decided to run like a potato on the same rig that, uncapped, it reached smooth 120fps on max settings and never lagged.

Similar I reached a constant 60 fps (console) but always had around 70-80 ping now I average around 100

So the lobby no longer tells you if the ping is bad, so people who get thrown into other regions don't know until the match starts.

As someone who lives in Texas and regularly gets thrown into what I can only assume is South American servers, it has been very frustrating.

My ping has always been around 20-30, and I've noticed matches lagging beyond belief since the update. Unfortunately I played as Wesker yesterday, so I couldn't see my own ping. But everyone else was over 100. The new RPD maps were the laggiest.

Same, and I'm one of them. I usually have a fairly middle of the road ping, but since the update it's been awful.

Almost every killer I played against yesterday had 200+ ping.

Most of my games, I have 40 to 70 ping. But now, I'll randomly get 1000+ ping matches. Not even joking or exaggerating.

Yeah, especially yesterday I noticed something curious
I was in a match as killer, and there was one dwight that was lagging nearly exactly at my same time
Like, as soon as the yellow icon appeared on my screen, a red bar would show on the side of Dwight's name
Then the yellow icon would disappear from my screen and soon after the red bar would disappear from Dwight's name
Never seen anyone else with a ping lower than 80 either

A few days ago, I encountered a Leon with a consistent ping of over a thousand. Have to give him credit for sticking it out, though.

red ping symbol over the survivor names with a knife in it means that the killer has a ping over 200

I experience lag at the most inconvenient times, like when I am right next to a pallet or a generator is almost complete and I'm on my last skill check...

The Project W patch introduced symbols that you can see in game for either ping, packet loss, or killer ping. The killer's ping will show above the survivor list in game when it's above 200 ms as a knife with a red bar. If it's a red bar without a knife or a double diamond symbol then it's your own ping. If your survivor teammates are having trouble with ping a red bar will display next to their name in the HUD in-game.

I'm noticing high ping as well, more often than usual.

So it happens often for me too: surprising, but I have best chases with none of all these symbols. They never appeared previously (I mean before this 'Project W patch). I usually had 40-50ms during the game & below the 80ms in the lobby. I just have a peak at the start of all trials, also my ping reaches from 120ms to 150ms sometimes.
I have set my graphic settings on 'Low' hoping that could reduce my rollbacks but... sometimes I still go back during a chase... especially when I'm facing off VPN/Console players...

I'm fairly certain it's bugged and keeps putting me in different regions which results in extreme lag
I had multiple lobbies yesterday of people from like Europe even south Korea

Yes, been having ping issues since the Project W update. We really should be able to see our ping in lobby.

once in a while i get either 400 ms ping or 1100 ping(my record is 10,000), but I've only hit 1100 ping once since Wesker dropped. However, the red ping icon that appears shows even for something like 60 ms ping which I think is wrong because it just needlessly spooks survivors.

I feel bad for you I average around 200 ish ping now before it was rare I went over 150 I would need to be in a storm for that

I wish BHVR would add more server locations, a Quebec and New York server would help with my constantly high ping
