gain exhaustion faster while crouching again

new nerf is on all exhaustion perks : dead hard, Lithe and Balanced Landing which already arent that good. If you can no longer get exhaustion back while sprinting then we should be able to crouch to gain stamina faster again.

Dead Hard is gonna get messed up if the exhaustion doesn't come back while sprinting since you literally have to use it during chases.

I just can't understand people who would rather complain about changes instead of running a perk that fixes it. Either the mechanic is severe enough that you run something to mitigate it, or the fix is a waste and you shrug it off. Although it could use a buff.

because they already nerfed exhaustion while crouching and are nerfing ALL these perks again. My proposed fix still allows what this new nerf intends without sacrificing a perk slot and making all these perks go to #########. Using another underwhelming perk with a limited perk slot to cover bad game design balance is not a solution.

Vigil is a great perk. It is simply shadowed by the amount of blatantly overpowered perks. In my opinion Vigil is one of the most balanced perks in the game, it does it's job and does it well but not to the point where it's overbearing or to the point where it will win a survivor a game. Same goes for monitor and abuse on killers. Amazing perks that get shadowed by a very strict meta.

Why would Lithe be affected by the exhaustion change, lore-wise? She can move faster because she's lighter... Balanced Landing wouldn't change either, since it represents your ability to tumble, not a summoned burst of excessive stamina consumption. Ah well. Maybe they'll work things out in testing, and we'll see what stays and what doesn't.

No it won't unless you use another Exhaustion perk before hand. It makes it so you get only ONE Dead Hard per chase, you have to break and rest to get it back.

How is that messing it up? You dont get multiple Get Out of Jail Free cards now. That's great.

dead hard is literally useless and not a get out of jail card as you do not sprint at 150% speed to even get a chance to escape. There's a reason why SB and Lithe are used way more often. The point of an exhaustion perk is to be able to have a chance at losing or ESCAPE THE KILLER. This nerf makes it a dead perk.

Monitor and abuse is not meta but a very great perk and amazing on certain killers like Meyers, freddy and Nurse. Vigil does not have that quality to be an amazing perk. It literally is a mediocre perk that just helps get exhaustion slightly better. The perk is there only because thy nerfed exhaustion before. We'll make it is a far better example of an underused but balanced perk. It actually does something useful.
