I'd like to know the BP incentive standard.
I'd like to know the BP incentive standard.
I know that the incentive criteria vary from region to region and from player to player.
Incentives are provided for roles with insufficient players.
By the way, mmr is slightly different for each killer, so on what basis is the incentive provided?
Is the average mmr of survivors and all killers the standard?

wish i knew, ever since they got added in they've only been available for survivor for me.
I dont particularly mind it, but it's kinda weird. Have never seen it appear on killer yet.

Currently more people want to play killer than survivor. If we'd had incentives before 6.1, you would have seen them move around far more dynamically.

If I am solo I will most likely go to whatever the incentive is even when its just the 25% mainly because I know the queue times will be faster and hey free blood points. But if I just faced the same killer 2 times in a row and did not have a good time in one or both no amount of bp is gonna stop me from switching.

Its definitely odd as I would assume some roles get played more at different mmrs.
Mine has been stuck on survivor constantly, dont mind as I mostly play survivor but I would of thought I'd get better matches and not potatoes as teammates

100% on solo q 24/7
Maybe 50% on killer every 3rd Tuesday at 3AM.

it's alway on survivor and killers wait time take forever so I haven't been playing much anymore.

I have seen once or twice 50% for killers, and the queue time was still infinite. I don't get it.

The incentives are related to the queue times, the longer the queues the higher the bonus up to a 100% max. MMR shouldnt affect it in any way. If Killers have a long queue because there arent enough Survivors to fill the lobbies then the bonus point will start appearing for Survivors to entice players to switch role so Killer queues get shorter and vice versa.
That being said, I wouldnt be surprised the bonus bugs sometimes and still apllies even when the queues timers shouldnt allow it.

We probably wouldn't, For there to be no incentives it needs to be a 4:1 ratio of players, atm you can have 3x the amount of survivor players and the bonus will still be for them. Like ideally with 50k players only 10k would play killer for the best matchmaking. The community is much more evenly split than that.

Here is a screenshot of one of the rare moments in history, ca. 8:30PM, Central Europe, colorized. Enjoy the sight.

It might not even be more killer players, it could be an even 50/50 split and the incentives would still need to be trying to switch most of the killers over to survivor because it needs that 4 to 1 ratio.

MMR has absolutely nothing to do with which role gets the bonus.
No.
The sole reason why the bonus is on one side is simply because there are more players playing the other.
That's it.
Stop trying to come up with delusional reasons why.

First off, the dev blog on matchmaking incentives specifically says it takes MMR into account.
Matchmaking incentives are unique to you and dependent on your matchmaking ratings and region.
Second what did I say that was “delusional”? I said the game needs 4 survivors and 1 killer per match, so if there is an even split of survivors and killers queued up then there aren’t enough survivors in queue to get everybody playing simultaneously. What exactly is wrong in that statement?

I should have worded it more clearly; that's what I meant.
Killer queue times used to be instant more often than not. Whenever that happened, it meant that the ratio was less than the 20:80 the game needs to function and we would have had killer incentives.

Overall while queue times might suffer I think its definitely better for the game if more than 20% wanna play killer
