Show peoples names at the end of the match with anonymous mode
I am personally going against WAY more hackers since the anonymous mode was added.
Even in endgame chat they say things like " good luck reporting that ggez baby killer "
Why would you make reporting this stuff harder? I get if they dont want to be tunnelled during the match, but it should show us post game.
Its to the point where I am just dodging anonymous groups now. Ill take a 4man over that.
Either that or get some real anti cheat. Like if the game detects the survivor just put themselves on the hook, took themselves off it, then escaped. Maybe that raises a flag.

You can still report people with anonymous names man. It's still the same thing, in game report, additional report + attach video

And what about our Switch cousins? They had their ability to record their games patched out several updates back.

You don't need a profile link to report anymore, just your cloud ID, and they'll find the profile you reported ingame.

I don't know, I'm on PS5, I didn't know this was a thing. It's no secret BHVR needs to update their reporting system.

Ist just Funny Everytime u playing against Player whit Anonymous Mode on u know to 95% that this Guy is a Cheater or TTV Why would u normaly hide ur User Name then ?
70% of my Games against a Person whit Anonymous Mode on was a Cheater whit hacked movement Speed or hacked Gen Speed ( no1 in the Match had a Toolbox or any Gen Progression Perks the player shouldnt be able to do a Gen alone in 30 seconds

I disagree, i also wouldnt follow a group of people walking into a bank in the middle of summer wearing balaclavas.
I mean your already operating under a fake online name how trustworthy can you be if you have to hide your fake name.

If you're okay with online harassment, that's on you. Some people don't enjoy it, even when you're using a fake online name. Anonymous Mode helps alleviate that for some people, look at how hostile people get when someone's steam profile is private, "must be a hacker", "can't see how much time you spent on the game", etc. All usually used as ammo to harass someone.
So if you're paranoid that someone enjoys a little more anonymity, doesn't mean they are up to no good. If you're assuming so, that's not such a good thing to do.
If you do happen to run into a cheater, anonymous mode or not, you can still report people.

See heres my problem, i dont care about the why. I have very thick skin, however I also have a list of the most toxic people I've played with that I dont want to play with again, and believe me you gotta do something bad to get on that list.
I believe in accountability, I play on console, my gamertag is my gamertag, there is already a lack of accountability for PC players because you can pretty much change your name whenever you want.
Since a decent chunk of the playerbase doesnt have that option or the anonymous mode, i will be extremely distrustful of those that use it, because they were barely held accountable before and even less so now.

I hide my user name. Why? Because when i started playing dbd, i would use the name of my online-persona, wich i used for every game and every forum.
And then a salty player accussed me of cheating. I wasn´t, i had seen him entering that locker with bbq, he was just stupid.
But he used my name to find other forums and games i was playing, and started to stalk me, send me ingame messages and insulting me.
I blocked or reported him whenever i could, and he vanished eventually, but since then i use a different name for every game or forum acount i make, and you can bet that i activated Anonymous Mode the moment it was available.
And thats why you would hide your user name. Toxicity in this game.
