Seems like Wesker is more popular than Nemesis
I don't remember seeing that many Nemesis players and for that long so offten after last RE chapter dropped. However If I am not mistaken, the first RE realese put DbD on all time player peak on steam (above 100K+ at one given moment), which second RE didn't. Interesting.

I'm not sure who is more popular. Wesker's release was not long ago. Let's give it a few months to see who is more popular.
Around the release, I saw multiple Nemesi as people were getting into the RE hype, but I used to see quite a few of them this summer as well.

I think they meant that there were a lot of Nemesis players for quite a while, not that your statistics were wrong :)

I absolutely remember getting nothing but Nemesis players, with an occasional sprinkling of Blight Nurse and Spirit, for about 2 months. Only then did I finally start to see some diversity, like... More Nurse Blight and Spirit.

beside the fact that nemi came at a dead time
his addons suck, his power is weird and his passive is useless
and don't get me started on the zombies
wesker is fun to play with and against, this powers are amazing mostly
his passive is actually scary and even when u clear yourself of uroboros he can just infectt u again

Those stats are just according to the players that decided to upload a screenshot of their matches on it. You can't see the whole playerbase stats. Only BHVR has them

Ive faced him nearly 10 times and haven't actually fathomed what he does apart from vaulting pallets and having some kinds poor mans nurse ability.

Oh I saw plenty of Nemesis when he was new.
I'm fine with Wesker being popular though, he's so much more fun to face than Nemesis ever will be.

I think it's largely because:
a) RE is an already popular IP so people will always check out big licenses like it.
b) it's the latest chapter, so by default, people are more inclined to try newer things to keep their gaming experience fresh.
I much prefer Nemesis as I personally find Wesker super annoying and unsuited to DBD. That's just my opinion, though; I know a lot of people love having him in the game.

I am speaking about how long Nemesis was staying popular, of course. He's still one of the most popular killers since then.
