Why do people slug at 5 gens
It's annoying and how do people find it fun and what's funnier it's Nurse's who do it more why I don't know but it's not fun and seriously annoying and more often the not just a complete waste of time.
So let's add that to stereotypical killers
Bubba will usually camp
Nurse will usually slug at 5 gens
What else is there.

If the situation presents itself, why not?

It puts heavy pressure on survivors very early into the game?

Yeah but downing all survivors and it's always a Nurse with Infectious I get you want to apply pressure but if your not picking up anyone and just forcing slugs then it's not even a match.

There's no good reason for the killer to pick up if they know for certain others are nearby and they are confident they can down them too. Grouping up is a misplay on the part of the survivors.

If your team can't manage to pick up slugs when all 4 are alive at 5 gens the killer would have smashed your team anyways. You each have 2 * health states in these scenarios and assuming you can chase well and clock in at least 20 seconds each health state that's almost a min per survivor to get to a slug and pick them up. If they're slugging they also aren't making use of starstruck or anything else and can really just get value out of knockout and infectious. Is it boring and lame? 100% absolutely, but if you're going down in chase on the order of seconds with two health states your team was not in a good spot anyways

They believe it is the best option in order to snowball and win the game?
You finding it annoying or frustrating is quite irrelevant, they are trying to play their game, they are your opponent and not your buddy.

Why shouldn't you play to win at any point in the match? What difference does it make when a killer does it at 5 gens or 1 gen? Is the killer only allowed to play smart after they've lost 80% of the match?

There is only 1 situation where I’ve slugged everyone when few gens are completed and that’s when I’m against a group that’s playing like a coordinated SWF, get a bit too smug with taunting me after a series of hook sabotages, out-looping me a few times, flashlight blinds, etc.
That said, I’ve then helped them get back up and proceed to meme it up with them the rest of the match. I feel like I’ve proved my point at that point lol.

I slug if they run to the corner and have boil over?
Why would I pick up if I can use them as bait?
Survivors should go do gens and leave my pet slug alone?

I'll turn the question around and ask why are you upset if you get slugged at 5 gens? At least you can move around and heal yourself almost to full if you get slugged.

I meaqn as a huntress if you give me the downs I will take them. slugging can be avoided and if you overcommit then the slugs get healed. plus survivors can easily come back from that with good chases and smart plays

I've tried to argue this so much recently. What's the big difference of trying to win just because it's at 5 gens?
1 -
Because its easy. Especially with nurse

I won’t go out of my way to slug at 5 gens just for the hell of it but if I down someone and you’re going for a flashlight save or you’re near me or whatever I’m not going to just not take a free hit.
Whether I keep chasing you after that depends on the situation.

I can copy your comment and apply it back to survivor role too.
Why do survivors rush at 0 hooks?
It's annoying and how do people find it fun and what's funnier it's Meg's who do it more why I don't know but it's not fun and seriously annoying and more often then not just a complete waste of time.
So let's add that to stereotypical survivors.
Nea will always beg for chase
Meg will always rush
What else is in there.
