He doesn't need a rework. He just needs some quality of life alterations to his existing base kit. Thematically they have nailed Michael's character from the movies. They just need to give some buffs to his kit.

Do you think Michael will ever get a rework?

Above I have no reason th think he is getting one but for the past month I've had this grinding feeling he's next don't have any reason to back this up

Ever? Yes. The devs will eventually get around to giving him attention he needs.
Soon? Probably not. The devs already gave us the roadmap for this year so it's unlikely they'll surprise us with a rework to Myers.

No I think a rework means an overhaul like what they did to Freddy. Michael doesn't need drastic changes like that.

Would be nice if they could buff him, his tier 1 is annoying and it's destroying him too much in early game. But if they do that, they really need to nerf his strongest add ons and buff his weakest one.

He could use some simple QoL buffs. Like moving at 110% in tier 1, instead of 105% like he does currently.
Having survivors regenerate stalk points over time would mean he never gets in situations where it's impossible for him to use his power.
Low-key, I think giving Myers a tier 4 would actually be dope. Like after getting enough tier 3's (let's say something between 3 and 5), you enter tier 4 permanently. Gives you permanent instadowns, even faster vault speed, move at 120%, shorter pallet stun time, and faster breaking speed (perhaps a 40m terror radius as well?).
It would certainly make him stronger. It's not like you see Myers running anything other than Fragrant Tuft of Hair anyway

but then Freddy they gave him 2 powers and a teleport

I’m not sure Michael will get a major rework. His kill rate and pick rate are actually around average from what I can tell from aggregate stats despite his bad reputation. Of course the devs look at other things too but unless they are looking at something specific like a particular add-on they think is causing problems I don’t think they’re unhappy with his overall performance.

Just one new thing
Buddy he can move up way faster and insta down people after five chained feral frenzy stabs. And I know that the yellow piss bottle isn't the best but "oh yeah you literally have another whole option that can do funky #########" isn't just QoL.
