Lilith is on a smurf account and the hackers are still stream sniping him, match after match.
I hope the cheating epidemy gets addressed soon.

It is hacker issue and he needs to report them. And we all having hackers anyway, should we all report them to here whenever we have?

“Report and move on” you say to streamers who get targeted game after game because cheaters are literally injecting themselves into their games. This is an issue that affects EVERYONE so lets stop pretending like we’re just supposed to roll with the punches when streamers, particularly fog whispers, are stepping away from DBD because it’s literally impossible to enjoy the game anymore.

Why we are posting about streamer who had hacker issue? What is point of this post? If everyone starts to share their games with hackers, forum will be full with them.
Do we really want that? Because i don't. If you have hacker, report them.

Only takes 1 dude doing some extremely easy detective work to figure out someone's alt account usually
I might not agree with the guy on some things, like his video on hug tech and the like but he should be able to play the game like anyone else. It's ridiculous it's gotten this bad
Goes for most streamers. I say most, because there are some actually vile people who stream this game. Some get 100s of viewers too.

Yes I do want that cause then the problem could become top priority, i’d rather a better anti-cheat to be worked on than one that doesn’t work at all, reporting helps slow it down but as we already know they’ll come back

It is strange isn't it, to see some players get oddly defensive and aggressive when the issue of cheaters comes up.

Because it's not just happening to streamers. I have had it happen to me several times because someone was pissed that i play nurse. There is an exploit that let's them join your lobby right now, so they can basically force inject themselves into your lobby and then hold you hostage.

I dunno. While I normally have little interest in people who post about their matches, I think that kind of exposure would actually be healthy for the community. BHVR seems pretty content to keep the cheater issue under the rug and unaddressed. If people spammed their cheater experiences en masse, it might force them to take notice. I know it's not as simple as 'improve the anticheat', but there are a number of measures they can implement that they have opted not to and pressure might change their priorities (a better report system, more staff handling moderation, built-in safeguards that end the match or allow free DCs if something wrong is detected.)
It'd be better than endless Nurse or camping/tunneling threads, anyway.

People who say hacking isn't a problem and shouldn't be their number 1 priority are either cheaters trying to downplay the situation or they're at the lowest MMR where hackers aren't likely since they always win.

Cheaters and Hackers are an epidemic in this game. BHVR cant just come out and say what they are doing to protect against the hackers and cheaters. The worst thing they do is put this game on sale numerous times making it easier for people to get numerous copies of the game to continue the cheating if they are banned. There should be 30 minute time limit on games, not 2 hours. A single match in DBD should not take more than 30 minutes.

i mean i am a no name Streamer and I have already been hosted twice, it is clear that big streamers are then held hostage very often, bhvr simply has to do it this way that if someone flies or other things that are impossible in dbd (i.e. things that are not normal) then it has to be game be ended when the endgame timer is finished and the game is then really ended...
