Video Editing Software

Hi Everyone!

I was looking to take some Dead by Daylight game play footage and piecing it together with effects, but I just have no idea what video editing software to go with.

I want something I can buy once (not subscription based) and not for hundreds of dollars. I am not a complete fool with computers and I am willing to put the time in to learn, so the software being super user friendly is not a must; I would rather have flexibility and quality in the long run as I get better, rather than everything being easy in the beginning but limiting long term.

Things I would like to be able to do. Zoom in within the video. Impose images onto the video. Add sound effects. A form of tracking within the video would be great too.

I would like to be able to do similar effects as SuperButterBuns on Youtube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uwp8P67iyOw).

Ideally the video editing software would come with some form of audio editing portion to it as well.
