Upcoming changes are looking good
Ever had an impossible match were you couldn't pick up a survivor because they had Unbreakable, Flip-Flop and Boil Over (and were in the main building of Ironworks of Misery for example)? Or did you you played against a slugging Nurse with Starstruck, Awakened Awareness, A Nurse's Calling and Agitation? Well, these things will soon be things of the past (although they won't come with the next update). Also they introduced a new system: survivors can now pick-up themselves after 45 seconds (gets reduced by recory speed increasing perks). But if you manage to down the last survivor standing, you'll mori them and the others will get killed by the Entity. But what will they do with perks like Hex: Devour Hope and Rancor. I'm glad you asked, they'll remove the moris from both perks. But to make Hex: Devour Hope not pointless, they'll make it so that 5 tokens grant you instantanously sacrifice. While Rancor got nerfed in terms of fun/uniqueness, Hex: Devour Hope got buffed and nerfed at the same time. If a hook is close, it was always better to hook them (if they had only one stage left) because it's faster and benefits from hook perks. Moris were only good against Decisive Strike and in no-hook areas. But with the new changes Hex: Devour Hope would have a better synergy with hook perks while still being a force to be reckoned with. The new slug/mori also makes blindness a bit weaker, while perks like Knock Out got indirectly buffed (if they work how I would assume).
Overall, these upcoming changes seem great and I can't wait to try them out on a PTB 🙂👌 (I'm unsure if it's in the next or not).

Ah yes, completely gutting a strategy and major part of the game and killing interactivity for both survivor and killer. Amazing.

Well bt already became basekit, now comes unbreakable, maybe next will be dh or a unnerfed form of Ds and then survivor have the old meta loadout for free.

Let's pray that's not the case, because I hope Unbreakable will just reduce the 45 seconds self-recovery time by 35%. But luckily these changes don't go live with the next update and will get ok a PTB first, so BHVR can make abuses like this not a thing for the mori update.

I agree on most things you've said, however I think when the mori rework PTB comes out, BHVR will fix abuses, change values, etc. While some perks got nerfed, some perks are now more appealing to killers (like Knock Out, which got buffed and nerfed at the same time).

I'll say lets wait until it goes live to actually rant about this, as behaviour tends to nerf surv buffs before they even start functioning.(Reassurance-Off the Record)

Exactly. Swfs push the limits with them in PTB, so they get a nerf before they go live. Tale as old as time.

Killers get Tier 1 Brutal Strength basekit and survivors lose their minds.
Survivors get Tier 3 Borrowed Time WITH a bonus speed boost on top of it basekit: not enough!
So now Survivors get Unbreakable basekit, except it can be used infinitely instead of once per match.
Boy oh boy, can't wait to see what else is going to be baked in. Pretty crazy how often enough volume gets game changes, regardless of how it impacts the game itself.
