Why is unbreakable going to be better than a boon?
Boons are supposed to be powerful surivor perks that take time to set and can be temporary disabled
Unbreakable is going to have the same effect as Unbreaka-boon but has no risk or range requirements and can't be disabled
I'm not opposed to the base changes but unbreakable is going to be metta cuts your recovery time In half and reduces the time needed to pick yourself up my suggestion is either cut the boost to 50% or
make it where you can 95% yourself but have to wait the 45s inorder to pick yourself up

Swap the buffs. Make the boon do 100% and unbreakable is 30%

i guess because even if it's range dependent, the Boon will still allows up to 3 survivors to recover faster while Unbreakable is only for yourself ^^

Well... Now it will be infinite UB, so it should be nerfed. Honestly it should be reworked. Boon version is fair because killer can hear and snuff it.

They would still both be 100% faster recovery because upcoming ptb unbreakable will also be 100% faster recovery

Im saying don't change unbreakable to be 100%, keep it at it's current percentage, and make the boon recovery you twice as fast, if not even more, because then you can actually get some value out of it, forcing the killer to break the boon or you just get right up in like 15 seconds.

Unbreakable should just stay the way it is.
35% is still recovering in ~33-35 seconds. Thats still good vallue for a passive always active perk

Wouldn't Unbreakable + Exponential be 200% faster recovery speed? If so, what does that come out to?

It technically isn't infinite you get up like 4 to 5 times without any perks because of the bleed out timer but yes the perks do need an adjustment

Not only should UB not be 100%, Exponential should actually be buffed to more than 100%. Despite having the same percentage as before, recovering in the totem’s AOE will be slower than before due to how the new system will work, so it will be indirectly nerfed if not readjusted to compensate.
But UB absolutely should be nerfed. 100% bonus self-recovery speed all the time with no prerequisite isn’t balanced.
Under the new system, it would take 15 seconds if you had both of those perks. Even with the UB buff, when combined with exponential it ends up being a bit slower than it currently is due to how they stack and the reduced base recovery speed.

Boons are supposed to be powerful but we have Boon Dark Theory which is a pretty weak perk for a boon totem.

Well if it's a mutliplayer ub would take it down to 22.5s and boon would take it down. 11.25s if it halves itself twice

Yes but it's the only perk that gives you haste with no requirements other than it being up

Let's be real: UB will become so meta as it gets, with 3-4 in every game. The fact that the Boon could be used by the entire team doesn't take into account its limited range and how you sorta have to plan to go down inside its range.

I mean halves your recovery time with no requirements Unbreaka-boon halves your recovery time with 2 requirements the boon has to be up and you have to be in range

This isn't the first time they propose or add something to the game that completely renders another mechanic or perk/addon useless
Read the tooltip for Hangman's Trick and then read Awakened Awareness. If they're going to announce new mechanics like this, clearly its been in their bank for a while then. If its been in the bank for a while then you'd THINK they would have also announced or at least thought of adjustments to everything rendered outdated because of this rework

The appeal to boons is that only one person needs to bring them amd essentially its a 5th perk for the rest of the team,, this is the reason circle of healing is still a very strong perk even after the series of nerfs it got, rightfully so

It will be around 22.3 secs I think if you have the basekit plus unbreakable

Honestly they probably should consider changing Exponential, it's honestly not really a very good Boon to begin with compared to Circle of Healing and Shadowstep and it'll just be that much weaker with the new base kit self revive.

Welp we don't know the values yet of Exponential. Would be nice if it was buffed to 200%

I feel bad for wasting 2k Iri shards on Boon: Exponential. If only I could have waited a bit more for basekit Unbreakable.
