Hackers Forcing DC Penalty
Hell yea it's Friday, time to stream some DbD.
Wait 5 minutes for a killer que.
All 5 gens done in approximately 3 minutes (bc hacker).
Get my second down in endgame.
Hacker spam in game kills my frames, the game crashes and I get a DC penalty.
I'm on PC I had no idea hackers can force DC penalties until today, this game becomes less and less enjoyable everyday.
I have the video as unlisted, here's the link if it doesn't let you view:

You didn't get a 5 minute queue. Even people at the MMR cap aren't getting 5 minute queues.
That said - yeah, hackers suck. BHVR are introducing some more countermeasures soon, as per their 'An Update on Cheating' post.

Hahahha oh my apologies, the que was 3 minutes 44 seconds upon review, and it took me 4 minutes and 48 seconds to get into the game. My bad, my bad, you're absolutely correct 😀 Thank you for correcting me on this impossibility of a que time. How absolutely crass of me to make such an obscene exaggeration 😲😲😲

that makes me sad

I realize coming up with an appropriate fix takes time, but I don't see why they can't disable DC penalties until they fix it

Because then, rather than a rare and isolated problem you make the game unplayable. I've been around for periods where there was no DC penalty, and it was impossible to get a real game.

Sorry but disabling DC penalties doesn't make the game unplayable. Being held hostage makes the game unplayable.

A dev told me that if you want to properly ban the hackers, you have to upload your video evidence to YouTube as public and e-mail it to them. That's just what a dev e-mailed to me.

No. Because that wouldn't fix anything about cheating, and it would just make another problem come back: salty people who DC every game when they see fit. So we have more problems instead of less.
