Otzdarva's Game Stats
Hello,
I have compiled some statistics of Otzdarva's killer games here. I would appreciate feedback on improving the stats.
Thanks.

That's honestly a lot of data and commitment

Otz mediocre killer confirmed.
7 -
That's actually really interesting and pretty to look at
11 -
Thanks.
2 -
Thanks, I do constantly track the data.
1 -
Did you check the difference between 6.1.0 and 6.1.2? Maybe the thanatophobia nerf made a big difference
1 -
Good effort, i loved these stats.
1 -
76% kill rate is mediocre?
18 -
For which statistic? I only tracked major patch numbers(6.1, 6.2 and so on), so I don't have the data for minor patches.

Thanks, glad you liked them.

Massive effort and extremely well put together?
This post is simply a W.
Excellent job OP.

Cool stats. Otz’s stats look a little similar to mine in some ways. His kill rate is a bit higher (I’m running about 70%, he’s 76%), which makes me feel like maybe I’m higher MMR than I thought. 🤷♂️ Also his top killers including Doctor and Sadako and Freddy line up with mine. I think that might be because they’re basic chase killers so don’t need as much regular practice to be good with them compared to, say, Nurse or Huntress, for example.
Also this lines up with my own experience for the new RPD maps being pretty killer friendly and corn maps being not so killer friendly.
Thanks for putting in the work on this, it’s interesting. 🙂

At high MMR, when every survivor team you face is Seal Team Six no less…
6 -
And that’s his average, his Doctor for instance has a 90% kill rate.

Thanks for your kind words.

Damn, did you do all of this by yourself? Very impressive, wish we had official stats like these. You should put this in his Discord, he'd definitely love to see these stats.
4 -
Thanks. It's really interesting that your own stats correspond to Otz's stats, do you keep a record of your games? I would be interested to see your stats if you do.
1 -
Yes, I did. 😅 Thanks for your kind words, I have already shared it with Otzdarva and in his discord as well.
2 -
And you're right, I also wish we had more detailed official stats, that would be really interesting to go through.

Win rate

Average gens completed is wayyyyy higher than I would have assumed.

Data yummy. Thank you!

Sorry, I don't track the minor patches. But Otz uses Thanatophobia rarely (only approx 40 games total), so it'd be hard to attribute any win rate changes to the thanatophobia nerf.

Great job, indeed :D

That's some amazing work you did there. Well done.

Sure thing, although I don't know how interesting I am. 🙂 I only play one or two matches a night so I'm not nearly as prolific and I've only been tracking my games on Nightlight for a month or two but here's what I have so far
- 57 killer games, 69.74% kill rate
- 12 Survivor games, 25% escape rate (I'm a total n00b survivor, I still have trouble hitting skill checks.)
- Most used loadout: Discordance, Fearmonger, Hex: Third Seal, Hex Undying. (Basically this loadout counters the most common survivor perks. Discordance for Prove Thyself, Fearmonger for Exhaustion perks, and Blindness for Windows of Opportunity which is one of the most picked ones and other aura perks)
- I play whatever killer I have a daily ritual for each night so my pick rates are fairly evenly spread out, I don't have any killers in that 57 with more than 5 matches.
- My most common survivor opponents are Meg and Feng with 10 appearances each.
- Average endgame bloodpoint score per match as kill seems to be about 28.8k
- Of the killers I've played enough to get at least 12 kills, Ghost Face has the highest kill rate at 91.67%.

Interesting stats, I have only recently heard about Nightlight. Seems like it tracks stats well. And great build idea btw, esp Third Seal for Windows.
2 -
Thanks. :)

Thank you.

Thanks! Yeah, Blindness is kind of underrated. Windows of Opportunity for example is the first or second most picked survivor perk alongside Dead Hard right now. And then there's a bunch of other aura perks that see a decent amount of use like Kindred and Wiretap and so on, and Blindness hard counters all of them. Even swf players run Windows and other aura perks, it's not like swfs usually go entirely aura free. Really the only downside to Third Seal is simply that it's a Hex, which is why I run Undying to give it a little extra durability and for a bit of extra tracking info. Sometimes people seem to think Blindness is only good for slugging and trying to get people to die on hook in solo queue, but I run it simply because aura perks are so popular. 🙂
And yeah, Nightlight's pretty good for tracking my matches. I just take a screenshot of my score screen and upload that to the site, pretty simple.

Yeah, I think it's because Otz usually plays chill during early game, so atleast a few gens are finished.
3 -
Yeah, 76% win rate is very mediocre.
0 -
I though he would have over 80% win rate but did I see right his win rate dropping below 70% after 6.2+ patch?
0 -
High MMR is a myth. It's just essentially like red ranks in the old ranking system. Strong players get paired with just about everyone aside from the very new players.
The strongest players are winning 90-95% of their matches playing weak killers and 99%+ of their matches with strong killers.
4 -
It's interesting 6.1.0 ultimately made no big difference in win rate.
Have you seen OP's data lol
0 -
How do you figure it’s mediocre? The average kill rate according to the devs is 61%, and the average kill rate on Nightlight is 55%. Regardless of which way you look at it he’s 15-20% above average.
0 -
Just to clarify, the figure stated in the summary is his average win rate (percent of games he gets a 3k/4k); his average kill rate over the same time period is 3.048/4 = 76.2%. As you said, devs have noted an average kill rate of 61% according to their stats, so Otz is sitting comfortably above the average. Now whether it is impressive or not, is up to personal opinion. I personally think it's quite an impressive feat to maintain that high a "win rate" on most killers (shown in slide 12).
3 -
Just think about how bad the average player is. Otz is definitely above average, as the numbers show, but his stats are not impressive when others go on 100-200 game win streaks with mid-tier killers (which would be over 99% win rate). There are people who are just way better. If you play variety killer and can get 175 wins in a row with nemesis and then go on a 100 game win streak with legion then do 200 games with Bubba under the current mmr, I would say that's top class. People just watch popular streamers like Otz and don't understand there are levels to this.
0 -
It did, but this data only captured 112 games in the 6.2+ patch, so it might have gone up since then. I can post some updates on the patch win rates here in the future if it seems interesting.

Trapper being in his bottom 5 is kind of sad :(
0 -
It is. Especially for someone with 10k hours.
1 -
Otzdarva is a little more proof the game is killer sided. He mostly plays fair as well with that percentage.
2 -
“It’s mediocre for someone who’s played 10k hours” is like saying Otz is mediocre compared to other grandmasters. I think it’s safe to say nobody who plays the game for 10k hours is “mediocre” at the game.

Tell me you’re low mmr without telling me you’re low mmr

Holy ######### that NOED winrate spike
0 -
I think these stats only prove that if you practice enough and become really good at the game, you can beat the majority of solo queue/ SWF teams. I don't think these stats should be considered for balancing arguments because it's just one person. If the majority of killers at high MMR are having this high a winrate, then we can look at those numbers and see what can/ should be changed.
0 -
You better keep in mind otz himself said he tend to play in "casual hour" too, the time where not strongest survivors are the majority.
0 -
Very impressive. I am a stat nerd so I appreciate your passion and the work involved in doing this.
0 -
Stop using the stats of 1 streamer to prove the game is killer sided, Henz and his death squad have over 200 wins in a row so if I was to use that I could say the game is surv sided.
0 -
there are swfs that have +200 escapes in a row sluzzy
no killer but nurse can even dream of getting to that.
