PSA: Anonymous Mode isn't fully Anonymous (at least on Steam)
Heya folks, just wanted to give a quick heads up for those using Anonymous Mode out there. If you're on Steam, people can actually find your profile after the game ends.
All they need to do is open up the Steam Overlay, and click on View Players:
From there, just go to the Recent Games tab, and every Steam profile you've been in a game with in the past week appears.
This tab doesn't update until the game ends, but when it does, they can see your profile.
Just thought I'd make this thread to make anyone aware, and to ask if anyone knows if there's a way to prevent your profile from showing up on this list.

I think thats why they couldn't do it on console either. They have recently played with as well. So it might not be so anomyous after all.

I think the reason they pulled it from console is because it was overriding platform features.

I talked to dbd support about this and they took it as feedback and not a bug.
"We understand that you're inquiring about the new Steamer feature. Kindly note that this feature was intended to protect streamers from being targeted, players in the match would still be able to look up their teammates profiles."
So idk what to think
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yeah maybe so. I just thought itd also be useless since its so easy to see last played with on console.
