is it really a nerf to no mither though? the pick up part is now base kit and the recovery speed does still speed up that process

I imagine No Mither takes the "pick yourself up" part out of its description, since it'd be redundant, but nothing else is gonna change?

There's functionally no benefit to running No Mither over Unbreakable in terms of picksies upsies, but No Mither is still a fairly strong stealth perk (if you don't get caught)

It is a nerf.
No Mither has 25% increase recovery speed, but recovery got nerfed from ~30 seconds to 45 seconds. Meaning that No Mither now takes longer to pick yourself off the ground

No one really slugged when you had No Mither so I don't think this will really change much. It's still a bad perk.
The real perk that is getting screwed over is Exponential. Same effect as the new Unbreakable but you need to be in a Boon. Literally no point to running it over Unbreakable now.

They actually will stack in the new system, if you use both Unbreakable and No Mither you can self recover in 20 seconds (i.e. 125% total bonus to recover speed)

They'll probably buff it to 100% silenced grunts or further increase the recovery speed bonus.

Giving up a health state to not bleed and reduce grunts of pain is hardly a good enough trade-off. No Mither could be used for the memes by going down on pallets or close to teammates but when it becomes base kit, there will be no reason to use it. I wonder if BHVR will change it by adding a different effect or removing the downside.

Maybe this is just differing experiences, but I don't think I've ever seen a killer actually slug someone with No Mither. I'd also been under the impression that nobody used No Mither for its ability to pick up off the ground solo, if it's ever used it's used because it makes you permanently injured or because it makes you pretty darn stealthy.
I'm not saying No Mither is ever really a tactically wise decision but I also really don't think its use case is going to change with the basekit self-pickup.

I had a duo SWF send me to springwood and set basement at shack, running No mither, Flip-flop, Boilover, and flashlights. I basically had to slug them repeatedly to bleed them out because i couldnt get them to a hook.

Man no mither is an awful perk anyway, hard to make it worse lol. Like you could maybe make a build with perks that buff you when injured. But if you get caught you are gonna get wrecked. They should definitely make it so that grunts of pain are reduced by 100%

Technically speaking its an indirect nerf since getting yourself up with No Mither right now takes ~26 seconds, after the change it will take ~33 seconds.
That being said No Mither is garbage and the indirect nerf wont make it any worse anyway, its like having a field filled to the brim with manure, adding another ton wont make the smell any worse.

Im pretty confident they said they will adjust the percentage of the current NM recover timer with the new 45 seconds. By how much, no idea. They will either show it in new ptb or later in the future because they specifically didnt mention how much exponential will change as well and thats all it does. Pick yourself up.

In some strange, sick way, I hope the team continue to find new and inventive ways to make the perk worse and worse, then introduce a unique challenge where you can only equip that perk and escape, but in return win both shards and BP.

I always hated this perk. I get that people like to do challenges with it or 'meme' with it, but nothing more annoying than loading into solo-queue with a No Mither player who doesn't know how to loop. You're actively putting yourself at a disadvantage and an easy target for the killer - why would you do that if you can't last 10 seconds in a chase? Plus, most killers know not to slug an NM player so its one benefit was pretty redundant anyway.

They never mentioned buffing the recovery % for No Mither. Yes, you could hypothetically stack it with Unbreakable, but realistically there is no point to sacrificing a health state permanently when No Mither's entire gimmick becomes basekit.
(I say this knowing damn well that I will still use No Mither anyways, because it's funny.)

I've never seen anyone run no mither and do well in a game. I used it for a few games to get my david king adept. And I'll probably never touch it again, unless i want to try a meme build with it.
