How do you break things you don't even touch?
Let's forget all the times in the past that a killers power or select perks would stop working, let's look at the now. The flashlight aim on MALE survivors only is a quarter further down the screen as opposed to the middle, and I'm pretty sure you can get 2 uses out of Haunted because people were exposed twice in one match after breaking 2 hex totems.
Are you guys even trying to unravel your nannas TERRIBLY knitted code? and if you are then that would explain random things breaking every patch. If not then I guess you guys just aren't that good at coding.

You can get a second use out of haunted ground with undying.

I'm starting to think that they ARE trying to unravel the code and that that is part of the issue.
If we assume that content update is at least 6 months in the making, this means we have the current situation:
Pack 1 is the coming content (new chapters, events etc) that is running on one version of the code.
Pack 2 is the current live version on which bugfixes are done.
Pack 3 is the code that is getting overhauled to streamline it more and make things work better.
So, when a code update from 2 might be put into 3 which is then put into 1 which might carry over some hiccups. But all in all this isn't worse than some bigger companies. it's just more frustrating as the gameplay is relatively small, so bugs are more noticable

Isn't that not possible anymore after they changed undying?

Survivor x undying = no HG effect, and HG can only trigger 1 time
Survivor x HG = HG Triggers, Undying is deactivated, HG takes over the Undying totem, HG can be triggered 2x
A killer with HG and Undying as their only hex perks leaves survivors with a 33.3333-% chance of Cleansing the Undying totem first, and a 66.66666-% chance of cleansing one of the HG totems first.
The reason HG can trigger twice is simple, HG can only activate once one of its totems is cleansed. When you cleanse an HG totem while Undying is active, you still cleanse the HG, and all undying does is bring the hex back to life on it's own totem. Undying doesn't take the fall or replace the cleansed totem, it revives it at it's location while deactivating itself. So if you cleanse an HG totem, you still activate it, and undying gives it an extra life by reviving it at it's location.
That's the nature of Undying. Whereas if you cleanse the Undying totem first instead of one of the other hexes, then it just goes away and can't bring any other cleansed hex back to life.

It's still possible, it will just move the specific totem you broke. So the Haunted that wasn't touched stays up and the one that was broken is moved to the Undying totem.

I wonder if they'll ever fix the code, without releasing like a DBD 2 so its remade from the ground up.
That's probably exactly what they have to do.
