Had a weird discussion over xbox

Do you as a surviver think hook animation takes to long?

because i had a game with somebody over xbox, me as killer, who complained about my "tunneling playstyle" (he tried to borrowd time bodyblock but i first hit somebody else and then did the lethal hit on him) after he disconected on my shoulder. he said he couldnt endour the to long hook animation. 2 games later, i had a bad match, made some mistakes only a game of around 7-8 minutes, so i just opend the gate and waited in a corner. in the results i realized something: the same game from befor was now waiting till the last tiny bit of endgame to run out. Like, what is this weird hypocritic stuff, where a 15 second animation for surviver is worse than a killer waiting 2 minutes to for a game to end.

can somebody please explain?

    They're salty and they're whining at you about it instead of just taking the L and moving on

    Short of just letting them go, they'd have found a million other reasons to complain about what happened

    Just survivors being toxic. Pretty standard. It's pretty standard stuff. And it is irritating when they chill in the exit gate specifically so they can teabag you. I just wander off and go break some walls to get a few more bloodpoints. Even had a group who came back into the map and slipped up so bad they turned a 0k into a 2k 🤣 one of them was a macro clicking torch jockey who'd been toxic all game. Would've loved to hear them when i got an insta grab while they unhooked and got 3 free hook phases off them.

    Survivor here. They don't care about the long animation, they disconnected because they screwed up and want to blame it on anything but their own idiocy. He took a risk to bodyblock, but it didn't work out, cue disconnect and blaming it on random crap. Nothing unusual here. The biggest clue being the ridiculous claim of the hook animation taking too long.

    Just count the grains of salt and move on.

    Though I agree that death animations (hooks, moris etc.) should be skippable, pretty sure those Survivors didn't dc because of that but rather because they are sore losers.
