Do you think the trailer for it will be a 'self-contained' one, or the older characters (survivors and killers alike) discovering their buddies are back and they brought company?

It is time it comes back.
The could do everthing. A new trailer or just a "we are back - due to incredible demand". Or just a news - but i doubt that.

Can't wait for it. Love the stranger things content and i so want to get some of the cosmetics for steve, nancy and demo. Since i got dbd in august. Plus I'm also stoked because I reckon the survivor(s) will feature eddie munsen and he's an amazing character.

A Chapter and trailer I could imagine:
Chapter:
Killer: Vecna
Survivors: Joyce Byers and Jim Hopper (Reasons I picked Joyce over Robin: She's been here from the beginning, she's popular and a beloved character, her and Hopper would be a great contrast to the young adults of Chapter 1 and Winona Ryder...) (Hopper over Eddie should be obvious, Eddie can't provide cosmetics for upcoming collections while Hopper can (Hopper is also better))
Legendary skins: Robin Buckley (Nancy Wheeler), Eddie Munson (Steve Harrington) (if they can't get Murray Bauman)
(((Costume Outfits: Eddie Cosplay for Jeff Johansen, Ted Cosplay for Dwight Fairfield)))
Trailer:
Trailer opens with Meg running in the Upside Down. It cuts to Joyce and Hopper walking around and finding Meg's body and try to wake her up. Meg starts floating and gets Sadako mori'd. Vecna says something, both turn around and see Vecna. (You can also add Nancy, Steve and Jonathan joining Joyce and Hopper for fun)

Definitely can get behind vecna as killer. But i reckon they should eddie munsen would be an amazing survivor. Why the hate for him?

i need cosmetics for demo so yeah stranger things needs to come back. hopefully netflix and bhvr can come together again.
