Dead by Daylight Killing f2p
As much as I enjoy playing dbd (barely) its really sad after the newest update that made leveling killers "faster" but really just felt like an excuse to make more money hurting f2p players.
When they made this update that personally i could do without, they updated the shrine of secrets now from buying a brand new perk it is a grand total of 6000 shards (2000 for tier one 4000 for tier two and 6000 for tier three) which is absolutely abhorrent since killers and survivors are only 9000 shards
NOT ONLY THAT but since its so rare to see any of those perks because only 4 are listed and it only changes one week.
Now personally i am a f2p player because i dont feel like handing bhvr anymore money after buying the game and it really starts to add up

Those aren't cells, though? Those are iridescent shards. Shards are a free currency - you earn them by playing the game, albeit slowly. And you can still buy non-licensed killers with shards. I don't believe you could ever buy licensed characters for shards, because it's a royalties issue where they'd likely lose money if they let you purchase licensed characters for free.
A character costs 500 cells if you want to use the paid currency. I don't think you can purchase perks directly with cells, though getting the character is basically the same thing unless you barely spend any time in the game.
As for the cost of perks in the shrine, you don't need to get it to level 3. It can show up in your bloodweb and be levelled to 3 if you buy it once, which is exactly the same deal you had in the previous system. This is technically better than before, as it plonks the perk on everyone at rank 1 instead of just making it possible to show up in the web.

First of all you're talking about Iridescent Shards, not Auric Cells.
Second of all, you could never buy licensed content with Iridescent Shards. (Other than teachable perks in the shrine)
Third of all, this update is not hurting you as much as you think. Since if something is costing you more than 2000, then that means you already have the perk unlocked. The only perks you should really be looking out for, are the ones that cost 2000. As those are the ones that aren't even in your bloodweb yet.
Before, you unlocked the teachable that was then able to be unlocked through the bloodweb. Now if you buy a perk, it gets unlocked on ALL your Survivors/Killers at the level you bought it at. For example, if you're unlocking Decisive Strike from the shrine, before you had the teachable and now had the chance of getting it in your bloodweb. Now you unlock Decisive Strike on ALL your Survivors at level 1 and have the chance of it appearing in your bloodweb again.
The new system is WAY better and benefits everyone much more.

i do apologize i did got some things mixed up also when you talk about the system being "way better and benefits everyone much more" it doesnt benefit f2p players as the old cost was 3000 shards for a perk you would have learned in your blood web rather then spending 12000 for a tier 3 on all killers or survs its much more expensive and with a currency that is already relatively hard to "farm" it absolutely hurts f2p players I dont even care about the new system with the bloodwebs but the shrine just has to go its much worse then the old shrine
Also ill probably edit my post and change up a few things but im tired right now and am heading to bed shortly

It was 2000 shards, not 3000.
Also, where are you getting that you need to spend 12k shards??? When you unlocked a teachable before you would only have the chance of it appearing in the bloodweb, now if you UNLOCK it (for the same price btw!) you have it unlocked on ALL your killers/survivors
The only time you are spending more than 2000, is if you already have the teachable unlocked. Say if you have BBQ and Chili for 6000, that means that you already have BBQ tier 2 unlocked, either from buying it in the shrine on a previous occasion or have The Cannibal at Prestige 2.
I could be missing something here, but like I can't possibly see how this is an issue
