Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

What do you guys do when you win too early?

Do you hook all 4 and get it over with or do you let them reset?

Feels like a lose lose situation imo. When i hook all 4 i feel bad and when i let survivors reset it usually turns into a farming game and i really dont like those.

    Depends on how it happened.

If someone just flat-out refused to play, I'll let the others farm.

If they tried to be cheeky with flashlights or whatever, I'll go for the hooks.

I just get it over with. If I win, I win. Much like if I lose, I lose.

I just win the game and get it over with for them. Personally I don’t like when people give me pity points so I don’t do it to other people, I play the game normally and if they win they win and if they lose they lose.

I go next and hope for a game that doesn't feel like a pointless cutscene next.

At least glad to see most people dont like turning it into a farming game.

I play harder the more I'm losing and play memier the more I'm winning. I dislike winning at 4-5 gens, since it just feels uninteractive. Usually I let survivors reset if they got wrecked too early, and sometimes this results in people figuring out what I'm doing and turning friendly (or giving up, which is often the same thing.)

If i performed poorly as survivor, id much rather they kill me than force me to farm for 10 plus minutes.

As such, If i wreck house, i try to end the survivors misery by ending the game as quickly as possible

Well since my intentional 0k-ing had brought me down to the probably lowest killer ELO possible, i had it quite often that survivor would completely lose their head and fail to progress after I got my 8th hook and still multiple gens had to be done.

Either i went strolling around the map hitting someone i came across while looking for breakable walls and dropped pallets.

Or if they wasted their time trying to style on me with flashlights or stuff, i went and killed them in the order of their first down.

Or i start zooming around the map as oni, scaring them and looking for leftover orbs.

Or collected all my traps as killer and layed them out in whatever pattern i came up at the moment.

And so on, looking for different kinds of entertainment with different killers to pass the time until they finish the gens.

I loosen up on the pressure and let them reset. I still have 100s of flans left so it gives them more BP

If someone asks for mercy because they have a Tome Challenge, want the BP or are just tired of people playing like their family is held hostage and will die if they don't 4K that game then I'll just farm. It's more like counting coup though since I'll two hook and then slug repeatedly while always leaving someone free for the pickup until either all the gens are done or they're too close to death at which point I stop farming. Then I let them go or, while someone is doing gens, I let them slam pallets on my head until we're out of pallets or the EGC is nearly over.

If someone doesn't like it they can always gesture at a hook and I'll sacrifice them but that's pretty rare; nearly always the survivors try to get the gens done and leave.

I generally loosen the gaspedal a bit if i'm way in the lead but i'm still trying to win.

I'll ignore people on deadhook, let a couple of gens i could have defended go, humor a chase in a very strong tile i would otherwise cut out off, etc...

I'll go back to full throttle once it's the last or second to last gen

This. Another favorite for me is to just chase a survivor but not swing at them, mostly to see how long it takes for them to realize I'm not going to down them. Sometimes they'll start farming pallets which I'll do a few of but find very boring. Often they just stop and turn and look at me, in which case I nod then run off to find someone else to chase.

Yeah, that's a favorite. Sometimes they just run cluelessly for literal minutes, but the slow realization and turn is hilarious. I once had a survivor point at me, shake their head, and then point in another direction. It was great.

If I blow out the survivors I typically only try to use my power. In the match I just came out of 2 minutes ago, 2 survivors gave up when they saw Coulrophobia. They kinda ruined that match by going afk. I feel obligated to just get the match over with but at the same time I feel bad for the two guys still playing it out. So I'll just give them a decent c hase only using my power and take turns chasing the unhooker.

Foot off the gas. Wins with a lot of bloodpoints means more to me than fast wins. If I beat them that convincingly at the start that I show ‘mercy,’ then I can most likely beat them again later on.

Depends how much bp I have already. But probably let them reset and max out some BP more

I'll generally try and let them reset. Or kill two of them and then let the other 2 live... if they're all cute I'll let them all live. I don't mind farming a bit from time to time !

I end the game and start another trial.

I used to just let the survivor's do the gens and leave if someone gave up, now I just kill them as fast as possible. If I'm winning that hard mmr isn't working that night which means games won't be fun which means I'm ending asap and alt+f4ing.

I let them reset. I play for points so short games don't work for my interests at all.

As killer? I won't farm too hard, but I'll at least let people stuggle out then walk away so they get unhooks. Plus i usually let last survivor go.

As survivor I've had a few games where killer as AFKd, refused to engage or just been super bad. I'll usually just take the survival, or grind whatever challenge I'm on.

Eh, I don't win to early most of the time because I only 2 hook, but if I have those at like 4 gens, I'll try and give survivors some chase points and injure them ect

Hook and into the next game, if Im demolishing against Survivors and I believe they are very new I may go softer but I wont let them reset the match if everyone gets hooked at 4 gens or something like that.

If I’m pushing to iri 1, I’ll let them reset. But once I hit rank, just kill kill kill. Don’t care about BP.

I tend to let them reset, don't be blatant about it so they don't farm, but act as if you went a really dumb direction for a bit and couldn't find anyone.

I do this for the points on both sides, noone wants to leave a match with less than 10k points
