like what i mean if the killer destroy the boon totem you can just put it back the same totem

You've always been enable re-bless your snuffed out Boon. If the Killer brings the perk Shattered Hope the totem will be destroyed when it's snuffed.

shattered hope? i thought they removed it for good so if the killer doesn't have shattered hope then the totem will be replace with a regular totem and you can bless it again?

Shattered Hope should be basekit imo. There are 5 totems in each game which means survivors can get 5 uses out of their boon perks. Allowing constant blessings is just ridiculous.
Other options to nerf boons:
- Increase the time it takes to bless a totem each time one is snuffed out.
- You have 3 tokens, each time you bless a totem you lose a token. Once all tokens are gone, you lost the ability to bless totems. (This would allow up to 12 blessings per game if all survivors brought a boon perk).

I agree, Shattered Hope should be basekit. Imagine how stupid it would be if survivors needed a perk to destroy a Hex totem. That's how it feels right now for killer.

The ability destroy Boon should be basekit, aura is not. SH should make Booner scream and expose for 1min.
Boon is only problem because of Coh, other Boons really need more range, but it would further buff Coh. I think Boon with Coh should be snuff itself after a single heal, giving back to +100% heal. Its like a pre-setup medkit for another teammate than infinity

Gonna slightly disagree with this. As of now, the only problematic boon is Circle of Healing. The rest of them aren't worthwhile bringing cause either their effects are too niche or simply not that good.
While this change could balance CoH, it would almost certainly kill off the other boon perks.

I think the three versions of Boon (Exponential, Healing and Shadow Step) should be mixed into one perk AND if the killer destroys it, you can no longer bless a totem during the match.

I disagree, at that point, Hex: Pentimento would be on every killer, since boons are so common. You would just snuff it out and instantly give everyone a 30% reduction on gens. It would make it so bringing a boon would nearly always result in a net negative.

I think survivors would be fine if the killer has to go to a totem in a corner of the map and spend 16 seconds to rebless it.

Hexes have the same problem, because a lot of hexes aren't worth running because of the huge risk there is for them to do nothing.
Besides most other boons aren't even ran. Dark Theory is bad with it's low impact and small area of effect.
Exponential only ever gets run as part of a squad build and it'll die if survivors get basekit ability to pick themselves up.
Shadow Step is actually balanced around being snuffable since the boon is most effective when placed aggressively which gives the killers more chances to actually interact with the boon. But you'll rarely see it alone unless someone is bring CoH because spending the time to set up Shadow Step vs running perks like Distortion or Lucky Break since their buffs just doesn't really make sense.
Shattered Hope could be made basekit and literally nothing would change, because boons as a mechanic aren't well designed.

That synergy could just be removed. It’s fine with shattered hope as it is now, but if killers can break totems basekit then I agree that would be too strong. Just make the entity consume the totem in that case so pentimento can’t be used that way.

Yes, the totem goes back to a dull totem if the killer does not have Shattered Hope. However, one of your teammates could have cleansed the dull totem after it was snuffed by the killer.

Having boons be breakable basekit is another one of the issues caused specifically by CoH: Most boons only get value when the killer is nearby, so not being able to break them permanently makes sense due to the map pressure dynamic it creates. There's a lot of interaction and cause/effect relationships caused by the boon dynamic itself.
CoH throws all that out the window since it is used to make a healing zone wherever the totem is, including if there is zero map pressure there and the killer has to sacrifice pressure to even get there. I don't think people would mind them being reusable as much if it weren't for that, and reusable CoH is such a problem it pretty much kills multiple playstyles. They really should just make it so that if CoH is on a totem, regardless of other boons paired with it, the break is permanent (while leaving any boons without CoH on them to do the same snuff/reaplicable stance) but then im sure there will be complaints about how booners are sandbagging each other and whatever arguments people want to start from that.
