Please stop with RPD OFFERINGS
I keep on seeing both killers and survivors complaining constantly on twitter that they are getting RPD non stop. I'm in the same boat, two days ago I got RPD 6 times in a row with no use of offerings.
Today I've DC during loading 4 times in a row because my teammates and survivors I've been matched with decided to bring in an RPD map offering.
Teammates and opponents I don't understand why bring a map offering for something you are actively complaining about? I get it the map has been reworked and you wanna see it (even though it's been over a month and you've had plenty of time to do so) but you're actively making your game experience and others matched with you a game of loading screens.
You will naturally get RPD don't force the entity to take ya somewhere they'd probably send ya too anyways.

- Just because some people are complaining about a map, doesn't mean everyone hates it.
- There are achievements tied to escaping on RPD.
Just play the damn game. It's not that bad that it's not possible to escape from it.

do people not realize they'll eventually get this done by playing normally?.
do they think getting the achievement is gonna grant them a million dollars or something??

"Playing normally" is kind of a stretch in this case. Because you also need to be the one to open the gates and escape through them. That, coupled with the 20 times makes it need grinding, otherwise you'd never actually get it reasonably.

I hate RPD as much as the next person, but somebody decided to make an achievement that requires I personally open the exit gates and escape 20 times there, and I want my 100% back.

Lets look at it "Open the exit gates and escape from Racoon City Police Department 20 times in public matches."
So for you to get some progress on this achievment you need to play on one of the two RPD maps; 2 maps out of 39 is a bit better then 19/20, so roughly 5%. In only 5% of your matches you actually get a shot at this ... that is unless you are burning an RPD offering, which has probably the highest rate of killers mysteriously experiencing connection problems during loadup.
Then you have to be one of the survivors who make it to the end of the match. My own survival rate is 43% now. I know that many soloQ survivors have some rates in the 30%s, while some SWF have it better. Lets be generous here and say the survival rate is 50%. So, in only 2.5% of the matches you make it to the end.
Then you need to be the one opening the exit gates! You can't have your buddy open the gates and then slip through the killers fingers, no, you must be the one pushing down the lever. You could manage to split up and be at the other gate, you could be lucky and always bully your way through, so lets be even more generous and say that you get to open the gates in 2/3s of the instances you make it to this point, and lets ignore any blood wardens and other shennanigans.
66% of 2.5% equals 1.65% So each time you queue up you have 1.65% chance to grind out one of twenty pips needed to get this achievment ... if we are generous. The numbers could easily go down as low as 1% or even below that. So at best you would need to play over 1200 matches to get this done if no offerings are used. I thought "The man behind the bush" was grindy af, but here you can at least expect to get 2-4 pips per match.

NGL, I hate RPD. But only because I get terribly turned around and lost while on that map as both Killer and Survivor.

alt f4 never fails to me. I HATE that map with all my soul. if the entity choses it i play, if someone offers it then sorry.

I'm so burned out on RPD I can't stand the map anymore. When playing survivor if someone puts up an RPD offering I DC. When playing killer and someone puts up an RPD offering I play the match just so I can make the survivor's lives a living hell for as long as I possibly can, and guarantee all of them bleed out or DC long before enough gens are done to open the exits.
Quit it with that #########.

Yes, can confirm. You don't get progress if you weren't the one to open the gates.

I actually like RPD maps. Outbreak Breakout maybe sucks for many people. It can be frustrating, but it's one of those achievements when you get it, you're happy as f♥♥♥.

Are you telling people not to actively pursue achievements? Why queue 100 times to maybe get 20 RPD games when I can just use 20 RPD offerings?

Yes, punish 3 survivors that definetly knew that that one survivor was going to throw in a RPD offering, very good

I think it'll die down. I think it's because there is an achievement to open the gate and escape RPD 30 times and everyone's rushing for it.... personally, I'll get that one when I get it, I have no desire at ALL to play an RPD map. XD I just make it a priority when the map pulls up to be the one pulling the gate switch. >_>

Blame the devs. They made an achievement where you have to go to RPD, open the gate, and escape 20 times.

I just don’t get why it exists. They went back on their achievement / trophy design. They promised no more grindy or impossible ones again. They had actually been quite tolerable to get them unlocked for the last couple chapters, then straight out of nowhere this pops up 🙄
It’s horrible for me, I had 100% on both PS4 and PS5 - I’ve got to still do it like 29 more times between both console with no RPD offerings left due to prestiging a lot of my survivors that had a lot of them before the rework 😫
You’re lucky to get RPD maybe 1/30 matches and then you have to factor in trying to get all the generators done, as well as somehow opening the gate yourself and escape. This achievement should never have had this condition - it should’ve just been straight up escapes by any means 🤷🏼♂️

Dcing just cause you don't like a map sounds lousy
I hate shelter in the woods and haddonfield but will still play them out even if one leads to an unwinable 3gen that lasts 40minutes

Best way to teach is by example. Punish the one who did it, prevent all four from doing it again.
Just make sure to drop a msg in after trial chat to specify why, so they know it's not a random thing.
