Boon Totem....Am I Wrong?
So when a Survivor cleanses a totem the Hex is done...Shouldn't when a killer takes the time to knock out a boon totem shouldn't it be done for the rest of the match?

Doesn't pentimento work the same way? I could be wrong but I thought as long as there is totems a killer can immediately activate it? Don't play killer too often so not sure.

No, you can not re-pentimento an already destroyed pentimento totem. Or in other words if the following chain happens; totem is destroyed(by survivor or killer smashing boon) -> Killer pentimentos it -> Survivor cleanses it, it's done. You cannot bring it back by any current method.

As survivor you have to find a totem (on some maps that can take a lot of time even you know the posible spawn locations), then you have to spend 14 seconds to bless the totem, or 28 if it's a hex and after that its easy to find for the killer with all that noise it makes and can be snuffed out within seconds.
all that time one survivor is not on a gen.

There’s no particular reason Boons and Hexes need to work the same way. It’s perfectly fine for Boon totems to be reblessable so long as the individual Boon perks themselves are balanced around that. And in fact the only Boon people even complain about being overpowered on this forum is Circle of Healing, all the other Boons are generally considered a lot weaker and see less use. (Shadowstep is probably the second best Boon and it sees much less use than Circle of Healing. Exponential is pretty bad, it only sees use in gimmick builds by swfs, and Dark Theory sees basically no use at all.)
So no, Boons and Hexes can work differently, that’s totally fine.

People sleep on shadow step so much it I can't tell you how many times I've come around a corner chasing a survivor for them to just be gone.

Well someone finally thought about it at Behaviour, but instead of making it basekit they are giving you the option with the perk called Shattered Hope.

I think its time to make shattered hope Baseline for killers and make breaking boon a 2 _3 second channel since survivors get free unbreakable which is hands down way stronger and game changing

Personally, it's not really sleeping on the perk, so much as getting crap from team mates because they "Wasted time running to the boon and it wasn't even CoH!"
I quite like the perk, but between sore winners, losers, and people who just want to be butt hats, it's not worth the extra hassle. I think it's more useful with an SWF who knows the score, and just another reason for people to whine in solo que.

You do know that "free unbreakable" is only so you can't slug everyone in 2 minutes and win instantly, right?

you are comparing one variable and ignoring all others.
Make them have map wide effect, no audio cues, a way to interrupt the killer when sniffing then we can have them as hex am fine with that.

Isn't gettin up from the the ground on your own the same thing? Yeah you still might wanna use the perk to make it absurdly fast but last time i checked id you're in dying state you cant pick your self up without perks or another teammate
