You know what's funny

When killers and survivors bring map offerings but get upset when the match doesn't go their way.

I faced a doc who brought the Midwich offering and camped because who wasn't getting any hooks.

He basically gave up yes I call camping giving up but he brought a map offering which by the way any two floored map is good on Doc because he can shock everyone even on a different floor.

But I just find it funny that killers and survivors do that.

This game would be objectively better without map offerings, they should be retired.

I disagree, there are certain times where the game is stuck on the same few maps and it's like you get those maps all freakin day , and for those moments map offerings should exist or at least a map vote system.

Getting bad maps back to back is just a string of bad luck that doesn't happen often. Map offerings' primary and most common use is to pick a map that is unbalanced towards either survivor or killer to unfairly get an easier match.

Neither side should be allowed to just choose the map they want. Maybe if BHVR reworked every map to actually be balanced fair then sure, map offerings would be a cool offering. But in the current state where maps are usually clearly biased to one side, they shouldn't exist.

Alot of maps aren't clearly biased to one side though, I mean yea a few could be argued for both sides but at the end of the day it all comes down to the killer you've picked or the builds being ran,.the maps themselves aren't a problem, certain killers who have been weak for a long time probably need looked at but the mid to upper tier killers can do fine on about any map, granted certain maps can be annoying even if they arent strong for the other side just due to how a killer power works, I guess at the end of the day we all have our own opinions though
