What do you guys think the mentality is here?
This is pre 6.1.0 probably in April. I got a "boring" from the leader of the group and mixed from the rest of them. I found this in my clips and I thought "If they didn't want my build which is perfectly suited to derive the most fun from those survivor builds then that means they wanted to bully a bunch of m1 killer's with their stacked builds"
Seriously I don't see this often anymore but every time I have seen "boring" it's usually because they just want to bully a baby myers for 15 min until they finally all die off.
Edit: I also could not care less about being "bullied" I got over that hurdle 6 months into the game, now it's just more chases and a win for me at this point.

I'd like to give benefit of the doubt that they personally found the match boring, which you can find with any killer. But no, look at those builds. They saw Alchemist's Ring and said, "Let's just give up."

It's from people who have gotten stomped one too many times.
I do genuinely feel for them because what do you do when you really try to have fun/win and you still can't?
Anyways, the game promotes a toxic gameplay feedback loop where it feels so ######### to lose that you'll stack everything in your favor to avoid that, hence you get matches like this.

I love how they called you "boring" yet every single one of them has DH and UB. At least two Live Forever and Soul Guard, one Mettle of Man and one Quick and Quiet. And ofc they all have flashlights with purple add-ons, if anything, they're the ones who are boring for taking "meta" builds.
It certainly says a lot more about them, because they're clearly the kind of players who get their rocks off by bullying new or lesser-skilled players who don't have the skill set, experience or perks available to counter their bully tactics. Honestly, it's quite disgusting that people like this exist because they know that they can just get away with it due to the anonymity of the internet.
And that's not even touching the fact that these types of players are created by the exact same toxic BS in the first place, like some really horrible feedback loop that just breeds toxicity. It's even more tragic because games that have even the faintest whiff of competitiveness, just bring out the sweat lords and speed-runners who do everything in their power to find the fastest and most "efficient" way of "winning" a game.
Edited for spelling and grammar errors.

Lol I'll bet they got shelter woods and then noped out once they saw the killer to top it off, I never burn a McMillan just because of the chance of getting that map

You've got good bloodpoints, so it must have been a decent way into the game (was it still when the max bp was 32k?). Guessing they were getting steamrolled?

with those builds they obv dont like to lose, and alch ring blight is one of two killers who stand a chance against that. esp pre 6.1

Seems split 50/50. The survivors look to be running bully builds. But then again, Blight. With alch ring to boot.
Can't really feel bad for either side.

I mean full swf pre 6.1.0 with those builds vs 2 good perks and 2 strong add-ons. And the reason I made this post wasn't because of that, it's because they were all hovering around me trying to "bully" me even though they know I got alch ring. And imo with those build's and the way they were playing you would think they would want to have the fun slug only chase game, because they were most definitely not trying to do gens. Also if they were trying to win they would be stacking medkits/toolbox's not flash lights. They went in with the intent to completely destroy some poor wraith or m1 killer not sweat for the win.
Nope, Groaning store house. Which I would say is a pretty good survivor map. Game probably was at 4 min when they dcd

Lol wow it never ceases to amaze, if people are gonna try and troll they should at least follow through and accept the loss

I was having fun, because it was the first decent team I had gone against in quite a while, while on the verge of quitting due to what I called high mmr survivors "bots with perks". Especially the guy named Yooni, he actually knew how to play against blight and then he dc'ed first followed by the other three within 2 seconds, it was quite jarring when it happened. I was having enough fun to run to the other side of the map to let them reset with their builds, guess that's when they decided to dc. Guess I didn't answer your question, 4 min in I think. And I genuinely do not think they would have gotten steamrolled at all if they were actually trying to win.
Also yes the reason I even had half a full meta build on blight back then was because I didn't feel the players I was going against were good, just running good builds and didn't feel the deserved to win. But I quit until 6.1.0 probably two weeks later because sweating like that wasn't fun, I just want to get better at blight not try hard to win as that usually doesn't improve mechanical skill on blight doing the most efficient methods to win as killer. High mmr has improved drastically in terms of survivor skill level since then, if enough players are playing for matchmaking to you know work. Not a bunch of boosted survivor players. Now it's the killers who are the boosted one's playing full gen kick, 3 gens. I despise perks and strategy's that take away gameplay other than slugging.
Now I just run chill builds with no slow down and random assortments of add-ons. Alch ring went from strong to unfair after 6.1.0 imo. Although it makes me sad because rushing = fun, alch ring = more rushes = more fun, green speed = faster rushes = more fun. I can pretty much say a decent amount of blights run those add-ons because of that. So if I am running alch ring it's just shadowborne, bbq and lethal.

Most Blight's run those add-ons because they make winning easier.
1 -
That's why I said decent amount, and if they wanted an easy win they would be running c33 every game. Most brainless free add-on in the game that I would equate to old dh. And for more experienced blights iri tag is also better though that does have mild map rng factors. Alch ring has counter play, it just leaves very little of it. Most of the time you just have to play the tile you are at, there is no using the hit speed burst to get to a tile farther than either 12 or 16m I forget. After 6.1.0 there is even less of that counter play left, and I run it rarely because of that. I would say 95% of survivors don't actually know how to play vs blight well and that comes from not having first hand experience of playing the most complicated killer in the game. Although I myself know how to play vs blight I usually mess up because my survivor movement and gauge of distance is terrible I am getting better the more I play survivor though. But I have only been playing survivor consistently since 6.1.0 and even then I play dbd less overall these days.

This is so long ago why are u even posting it? lmao.
They're probably bored because it was the millionth blight they've seen that day with alch ring and crow (which is super boring, even before when survivors were stronger). It's still super common and basically puts him on easy mode. I'd say what you brought was basically equal to the same thing they did. They didn't have boons or medkits so it's not like it would've been impossible to pressure them. They also didn't bring ds either, so the UB+SG isn't really forced.
but part of me suspects you uploaded it just to get some reactions or validation.

What do you guys think the mentality is here?
Hang on, need to find a gif of a tantruming toddler.

OUR MACROS ARE USELESS - ABANDON SHIP!
3 -
Congratulations, that's the entire point of add-ons, making the killer stronger. Or the items stronger.
2 -
Dude, it's a a 4-stack SWF. When they lose, they will find any way to complain about you, even if it doesn't make any sense. I played against a 4-stack recently with 2 TTVers on Badham as Spirit. I ended up getting the dub, and I watched the VOD to listen to the sh1t that they talked. One of the players goes "yeah keep phasing because you're sh1t without it!!! It doesn't matter how much you outplay them, they just catch up to you!! Phasing is so OP" lmao
4 -
I don't have every perk image memorized but if my eyes don't deceive me, it looks like what really happened here is that they realized both Soul Guard and their flashes were useless, and they proceeded to throw the biggest SWF tantrum they possibly could.
Boring is code for, "I can't admit I got beaten when I tried to be this sweaty."
3 -
Killer players experience the same but I see a way lower percentage of them dc. In my oppinion you can at least stay in the game and get it over with. Sometimes these matches end up being not as bad as it felt at first. Although I do understand the sentiment that it can be very hard to genuinely enjoy the game at times.
Then again, looking at the perks and items it seems more like a case of "Can't bully the killer? Just dc."

Minimum online game etiquette? Sportsmanship?
None.
3 -
Bored, huh? So bored that all four decided to turn down the easy bloodpoints? Yeah, that checks out.
Why would the OP need validation? He didn't do anything. And who cares if this is from April? It's still a prime example of how an entitled bully squad behaves when they know they're outmatched. Pretty much a safe bet they're still in the game acting like fools.
You wouldn't happen to be one of the players on this squad, would you? 😂
3 -
Without context, I don't know. We would have to see how that match went.

Read my replies in this post. I would say those builds are probably equal, they went in for a bully squad but they can't just stand around an alch ring blight like they can a wraith. I don't need validation nor do I care about being "bullied". My other replies give thoughts and context.
3 -
yea you'd love if i were wouldn't u? but no, im just saying these survivors probably weren't a big bad bully squad. and even if they were op is fully equipped to handle them so acting like they got epicly pwned by a perkless sadako and dc'ed is dumb. ur typing this out with a lot of vendetta behind it and its really funny. please keep going.
0 -
Looks like they got outplayed by before the trial even started!
2 -
its just really weird to post a screenshot from this long ago and still talk about it. like this was a completely different era of dbd at this point. yea, ur going to get a bunch of bots who play like this. what else can be said about it? you ran a strong build and they didn't want to play against it. its that simple.
1 -
This content has been removed.
-
The point is the only didn't want to play the game because they actually had to try. If they don't want to go against players on par with them they shouldn't play the game.
3 -
Look at you, all salty over something you say doesn't concern you. The OP must've hit some nerve, otherwise there's no reason to speak on it, and certainly no reason to accuse someone of looking for attention. If the Sadako was weak, why dip? Why not just stay in, take her out, and soak up the easy BP?
And who really says "pwned" anymore? 😂
0 -
Just salty tryhards throwing a fit because they couldn't win. I mean you are playing a pretty grubby build but nothing wrong with optimising. Especially since they are also running grubby perks. I mean 4 deadhards on one team? Probably a 4 man swf.
And all with torches as well 🤣 bet they'd have been bagging and clicking. Nice one on bullying the bully squad lol.
2 -
Pre 6.1.0
It was either SWF going for a bully or SWF going for fast games
And if it was anything in the middle it was Solo's
As for the screenshot... it was a Bully Squad that couldn't Bully so they said it was boring cause they only care about their fun
4 -
lol. lmao, even.
0 -
cool so basically u admit that u already knew the answer and had no reason to post this?
0 -
god macro flashlights is one of the most annoying shits in the game to ever exist, glad it's gone now.
1 -
you could've easily just skipped past this post, instead of writing like 6 replies about it, trying to prove that OP is "weird" for posting this.
seems like you care about this on a personal level, care to elaborate?
3 -
The more he goes on, the more convinced I get that he might be a member of that bully squad. He denies it, but if he's not involved, then he's got no reason to pop off and accuse the OP of looking for attention. Dude definitely feels seen. 😂🤣
1 -
A good option is to move on to other games. People get too emotionally attached by playing the same game for years and get stuck without realizing you can always move on to other games, forcing it when its not fun its pointless.

how to say you don't play both sides at all LUL
