Halloween Event Doesn't Seem So Bad...
Didn't realize it shows you where the rifts are, etc...just saw people complaining about it earlier.
It wasn't too hard at all, imo, to get 15 'unstable energy' in one game.
I honestly feel like the complaints are overblown.

i think people are more upset that you "steal" energy from the survivor when they get downed. but honestly not that bad
just the usual people being more toxic and trying there hardest to not let the other side get there reward

BHVR is damned if they do, damned if they don't with these things
Make it interesting; usually one side or the other is going to have some kind of "advantage" from it
Make it not interesting; people will complain that it's just DBD with a coat of paint
I have greatly enjoyed it so far at least...

Sounds ike the good kind of toxicity, honestly. Just downing survivors? Cool, I was already planning on it.
Then the survivors can stun me and rob my wallet? Cool!

The rate at which you gain the energy from gens/pumpkins is so high that you could lose it from just getting hit and still get 15 (probably need 30 or 50 in page 2, I'm assuming) in 2-3 games at most if you're not afk.
It's probably the best event I've seen in DBD.

It's been fun in the very few matches where I'm not immediately camped and tunneled into the ground as survivor.

I think the event is well done. Has a good atmosphere, gives a side objective, and doesn't interrupt the game flow too much. Not sure where the complaints are coming from. I've been knocking out 30 energy consistently on both sides

This event is interesting sure but flat out terrible for teamwork. They have now made the game a selfish race to these voids. People get left to hang or die on hooks while everyone slams gens to get points or run around trying to get to a void before they are downed and camped to death

I'm slightly annoyed they continue to make cosmetics for only certain survivors. My main gets nothing this event

My only issue is you can steal energy form other players. Just award energy or those actions, why did we have to steal it from others?

Just wait till day 3 when nearly everyone has all their cosmetics and the game will revert back to its old self ^^
But I am really enjoying myself so far and like it. But one thing:
BHVR, pleeeeese! From next event on give us a simple page where we see all the rewards of the event summarized and what ever item we already optained lit up. Gosh, I hate to click through all my characters just the check if they got something new.

That's a valid point. I agree with the unlocked cosmetics being on a page so it's easier to track which ones you have! So annoying scrolling through every character to figure it out! Lol

These days BHVR can't let an update pass without Feng and Felix getting cosmetics, I'm just about numb to it at this point. Not to mention Jane got a mask in the last event, and got a full outfit in the Store just this week... so half of the Survivor shirt choices are questionable.
The event is okay for me so far. But like others are saying here, my biggest complaint is that they seem to have taken a step backwards from the last event. The Masquerade had a page where you could see your unlock progress on the various cosmetics. I'm not seeing that information this time.

I'm fine with jane getting one honestly, don't like her but she barely gets any cosmetics. but yeah Felix, Feng and Claudette already get a lot of cosmetics.
when will BHVR realize a lot of survivors are barely chosen because there cosmetic options are severely lacking

Good TBH (jk jk). but yeah i agree survivor variety is lacking. for once i want them to release a patch and give survivors and killers who allmost never get any 1 or 2 unique outfits each

Honestly the stealing void energy sounded too much, but it's not really a lot since it's 3 which is generally how much you get per action anyways. I think Pumpkins sometimes give 2.

yeah Hindered and Basic pumpkins give 2. but Haste Pumpkins only give 1

Yeah I'm enjoying it. No event is gonna be perfect but this is probably the best one yet.

I was looking through her cosmetics recently and I legit didn't see any difference between her hair.

Until very recently, Jane is left out almost always when it comes to new cosmetics. Her new cosmetics are much deserved.
And like it or not, Feng is one of the most played survivors…I appreciate her getting new cosmetics, no matter how many old ones she has.

I enjoy the newish mechanics. Makes mundane generator play a little more spicy. The extra bloodpoints is amazing.

if we had the option for jewelry i would but for it but come on bhvr
im going to assume they dont wanna change her hair color because its important to her story or whatever
but they could've done "no matter how much time she tried to dye her hair, her past allways leaked through" just keeping the white streak with different color hair

That can be good. There is nothing stopping them changing their hair style in a certain way

The maximum you can get in a single match is 30. Once you have deposited 30, the bar shrinks to just a circle and you no longer gain any.

My games have been fine, haven't had any issues. Been getting plenty of bp so can't complain!
