What do you guys think of hag trap spam?

Should be the number of traps in one area limited?

Should the sudden orientation of the player on the trap be changed?

I think it's fine as it currently is ? Hag is already decently counterable and so weak in chase, if you remove the ability to do chain traps to try and help her get downs, or to heavily trap an area, then she better get lots of buffs to compensate because she'd be helpless.

The only real thing about hag that bothers me the most isn't even the trap spam. It's my fault if I fall for it. The real problem for me is that the camera focuses on a triggered trap, making me feel lost as I'm running in one direction.

Then what's the point of playing her...

Making the "web of Traps" is something skill related

Loose webs and tight webs are all skill expression

Even webs that only have 5-6 traps and the rest are reactions to what Survivors do

If a hag wants to dedicate the time to setting umpteen traps then fair enough. The camera drag needs to go though.

There's a trick for this, If you get caught by it a lot, set the trap off on purpose by walking forward, then immediate start running backward the moment you get the pop. If its only the matter of the camera specifically while running, just be ready to pivot the second you hear the pop, and keep track mentally of what angle its going to put you at with the camera lock. Sometimes running toward it at an angle and then immediately adjusting the angle on one axis helps a lot, so like running toward the right of it then holding back and right when you get close enough for the pop.

They're all assuming you can see them coming though. If you have trouble finding them, flashlights not only burn them but highlight them, making them an extremely hard counter to her power.

only thing that needs changed about hag is how close to hooked survivors she can place her traps.

I think Hag is fine in terms of strength. She has a limited range for her teleport so she doesn't want to spread traps too far. She also is too slow for that and because you only lose 1 health state with each hit she needs to set her trans in a very tight net so that she can actuall down you. Otherwise wouldn't survivors just run away, heal rinse and repeat? I don't see her getting a down if she can't place her traps in close proximity.

I mean, putting anymore than one trap infront of a hook is just a waste. Other than that, her web would be weaker.

    Annoying but fine.

They could probs do some thing to make camping from across the map harder. but she is fine other than that

No and no. Especially not now since Hag is so rare to face of against. Flashlights and Urban Evasion get great value if you happen to face hag when equipped with them. Bonus points if you happen to have both.
