Win Criteria
What is your win criteria on both sides?
For a long time I felt that the 3k was a killer win, 2K 2E was a draw & 3+ escape was a survivor win. That was when I was mainly playing killer though & since playing survivor almost exclusively for the last few months I actually feel like I wouldn't class a 3k as a win anymore.
Like if I've played a match as a survivor & I've managed to evade the killer with zero hooks, done gens, rescued people, healed people & manage to outplay the killer on the endgame collapse and escape, I honestly feel like I've won the game way more than I do when I've got 3k as a killer.

I consider a win when I complete a Tome challenge or when I have fun with people involved in the match.
After that, as killer I consider a win even 8 or 9 hooks with 1 kill because I actually have chases with people multiple times instead of tunneling or camping the same 1 or 2 and get bored. As survivor, I play as a team so if 3 escapes and I die, it's still a win.

Your winning criteria for survivor and killer does not have to be mutually exclusive.
You can consider a 3K as a win when you're killer, even though the 4rth survivor had an exhilarating game. It's all about how good the game was for you. As survivor, one man escape after a good game can be a a win. It doesn't make the killer's 3K a loss or a draw.
There are 5 players. Sometimes, people from both sides win. :)

It's probably the boring "feel good" answer but...
I consider it a win if I had fun
Curb stomping a group of noobs I suppose is technically a win in the sense that a NFL team curb stomping a high school JV team is a win but I can't imagine either group enjoyed the experience. Running circles around a poor killer that I am clearly leagues above isn't very fun either even though I escape with ease.
Dying or getting 0K in a fun match is a much bigger win in my book than escaping with my team or getting a 4K in a boring match.

I consider 3k + hatch to be a win as killer. As survivor, a win is either an escape or a match where I feel I played well and/or got my tome challenge done.

killer: 3k pre endgame or 4k at any time
surv: escape or 3+ out
0 -
Killer: 3k minimum.
survivor: either escape or die getting 3 out.

As killer a win is 3k or 4k, as survivors as long as I escape or we get a 2E I won.

Usually for killer, 3k is a win, 2k is a draw.
For survivors it's only "Escaped or not".
Hatch don't count, you can consider it as a draw, coz it's random.

Killer: 8+ hooks = win ; 8 hooks = draw ; less than 8 hooks = loss
Survivor: Getting all gens done and escaping with at least one person.

Killer it's a 3k or better. 2k is a draw and I really don't feel bad about it. Especially if I can force the two escapees to run and abandon their teammate(s).
Survivor it's 5 gens and 2 or better escapes. For some reason I don't look at 2k as a draw when I'm survivor but I do as a killer. Dunno why.

For survivor, it's a win if 2 or more people get out. For killer, if 3 or more people die, or if I could have killed them all and opted not to - so 8 hooks and enough time left that I could have finished the job.
But really, it's a win if I had a good time that game. I'd rather have a hard-fought game against a team just a little bit above my skill level and some fierce loops (with mutual good sportsmanship about said loops) than I would the Texas Newbie Massacre.

Playing well and your team winning aren't the same thing though.

My winning criteria as killer is 3+kills, as survivor its escaping, and as survvior team its 3+ escapes, doesnt have to be me.
However, winning alone doesnt make for a gg. I had several games as killer where i hooked everyone 2 times, and then the gens are powered, and you then can get a 4 escape as well as a 4k, i had both, and everything in between. But even a 4 escape feels way more better a lot of times under that condition than a 4k were i met little resistance at all.

I would appreciate it if the winning criteria would be finally defined from dev side.
And yes, I know that this is not easily done.

I think devs were about to celebrate a tournament and tgey already stated a win criteria

For Killer or Surv, if I have an obnoxious tome to complete, then any significant progress made in a match is a win. That also applies to things like the current event and the extra cosmetics. If I'm able to get my 30 void points, then I'm happy.
Outside of those, for surv, I'm perfectly happy if I die, but overall contributed to the escape of my teammates and especially glad if we get down to endgame and I die, but that death allows another to get out. Escaping isn't really a hallmark for me as surv of 'victory' or 'defeat' just because there can be a lot of things that heavy tilt the game in one direction or another and since many of those factors are largely outside of my control, I just roll with it. Same for Killer. I'm more likely to let at least 2 survs escape if its pretty obvious I'm going against people who have way less experience than I do. I can't help it. I feel bad otherwise. lol.

You won but your team lost.

I consider a 3K a win for the killer, 2K a draw and 1/0K a loss.
But I don't consider the same for survivor.
For survivor, powering the exit and personally escaping is a win, whether it's with three other survivors or just by myself.
This is an asymmetrical game after all.

3-4k win for killer, 0,1, 2 lose for killer.

Killer: 2 or more of the following
- 7+ Hook states
- Killed the most annoying or skilled survivor
- Top of the scoreboard and over 25k
- Had fun
Survivor: 2 or more of the following
- Escaped
- Bought enough time for everyone else to escape
- Got my rift challenge or achievement done
- Died a hero
- Had fun

You guys are way to hard on yourselves, you can't lose as killer.
If you sacrifice a survivor The Entity get's their hope. If you don't sacrifice a survivor they get more hope, this makes them more bountiful for the next killer to sacrifice.
If you want to be literal, the game is balanced around 2 kills 2 escapes. This mean 2k is a win for killer, and escaping is a win for survivor.

Survivor escape and Killer 4 man.
Maybe I'm willing to call a win over a justice game, but generally speaking that is what it is.

For myself I consider every match a win as long as I had fun or I could learn something.
In general 3ks-4ks are a win, 2ks a draw, and 0-1ks a loss for the killer.
When playing survivor I apply the same rules.
