I always thought it's a shame the Halloween event isn't the biggest thing dbd does every year and make it a full month full of fun and content

Or do you have an estimate on when you'll be better able to judge when you can make that guess?

I believe the survey we took a week or so ago is set to start today with the winning choices. Double xp from 10/4 to 10/11. Certain maps get priority. Etc.

If I had to take a guess, the event start Oct. 18 or Oct. 20 and it'll last for 3 weeks.

I think it will come 3 weeks and 1 day after the PTB came out which will be probably the 19th. They start today with the one week of community choices, so it makes sense.

Killers, can you stop playing so damn sweaty for this Halloween 2022 event?!? It's bad enough that the great middle of our player base has left the game, but this is supposed to also be fun time and when you are disrespectful by downing survivors who are in the middle of simply dropping void points into the rift. You are not doing anything for the game by chasing more people away. We already know BHVR developers care squat for the middle level players - you are going to chase away potential new players when BHVR launches you on those unsuspecting folks. There was a time when there would be fun killers from time to time, but y'all are acting like arrogant asses with something to prove. It's a game. To all those who say too bad and deal with it, well you can see by the steam charts that not even the Halloween event is helping lifting players for any extended period. BHVR is doing all they an to ruin the game. don't add to it.
