Everyone laughed at me when I said Freddy was an unstoppable force. You guys didn't believe me, but now bvhr got the data to support my claims. Don't take a nap, he will 4k you in your dreams.

Freddy mains do anything for the 4k. cant remember the last time a freddy has not done anything in there power (tunneling,camping, and slugging) to win lol

Yea very weird, I'm guessing the new players are struggling against the teleport / hit and run playstyle from sadako and freddy, by that logic wraith should be up there too but I'm assuming since he is a base killer a lot of new players play him while killers like freddy or sadako are for people who are a bit more invested in the game and get the DLC so they get a bit better KR. Still kinda pointless data imo cause doesn't show hooks, and hooks tell way better how much pressure a killer can put on the survivors.

Fun fact: if 3 people play one character and all of them 4k, the average kill rate is 100%
Does that make the character strong, or is it just the fact that so little people play them, a single match can switch the balance by a mile?

It could be that everytime I go against Freddy I die of boredom halfway through the match. Wouldn't be surprised if that happened to most people.

This. The number of people who play/main Sadako and Freddy is probably quite small (former Freddy main). I would bet that the numbers are skewed because of this.

Indeed. KR data shows a very small fraction of the whole picture, especially without playcount and the context of the matches (which addons are being used, did people dc/give up on hook, etc).

From what ive gathered its exactly as i described in my post a while ago. Slug into condemnation spreading, then onryo spamming the iri to just ignore the concept of hooking. Guess it wasn't as useless as thought. As it seems to be picking up momentum as time goes along.

So the stats are taken from games with no DC's? That's good to know.
Do they incude games where a player killed themselves? On first or second hook. That can function basically the same as a DC.

I can't remember the last time I tunneled, camped or slugged as Freddy... But I do remember getting a 4K last night with him. He may have the worst add-ons, but his mind gaming skill is on par. Making survivors unsure of where he's coming from, if he's going to teleport to the gen their on or cancel the effect to hit them from behind... Only effective SWFs with good communication have an advantage against him.
But I can't speak for every other Freddy out there. I just know I prefer mind games over tunneling, camping, slugging, speed or brute force/insta downs. Even if I lose, I get the satisfaction of making the match scary. Unpredictability and uncertainty is what drives survivors to make mistakes, and it's helped me. I'm more of a Sadako main and that's been my tactic. Make it so the survivors don't know what to expect next.
But yeah, he needs better add-ons. I think his teleport power can stay. The Dream Traps need to have something else added to them because they literally do nothing. At least Dream Pallets slow them down a bit. But running through a pool of blood screaming is pointless, if not annoying at times. Plus they don't always go down right away like the pallets do. He does need some work but I think because his kill rate is so high, the devs aren't going to touch him.

Agreed, the mindgames/baits/mobility and the hability to break LoS and teleport to catch a survivor that just holds W is what makes him fun for me as well. Addons need a rework and snares could be replaced by something more fun imo. Snares can help but a lot of times people are not in dream and u can't even get the value from it.

Freddy is one of the most overpowered killers in the dbd history, he is a beast even after the nerfs he got and he needs further nerfs. Im constantly getting 4k's with Freddy.

Fun fact: all of these kill rates fall squarely in the 'average 2K' zone.
Only Wesker at higher MMRs with a 65% slightly ekes it out into the 'average 3K' category.
