So can you report Camping?
Serious question....and will anything happen if you do?
I'm actually a killer main and have no respect for hook campers. And i love the casual campers who pretend they're not in the vicinity of the hook and walk around like they're "looking for something or someone"
And it always seems to be PC players...i'm sure it's not but seems that way
So is it a thing, can they be reported?

Nope, camping cannot be reported, neither can tunneling.

Camping is not a reportable offence. It can be annoying but it's a legitimate tactic. Only time it could be a bannable thing is if killer is holdin the game hostage by camping a 3 gen if they aren't trying to actually down survivors. So unless something like that is happening it isn't against the rules as far as BHVR is concerned.

The only defense against hook camping is to not be caught in the first place. Sure it may be poor sportsmanship to camp but it wont really help a killers other 3 badges as they stand there. Basically the killer will never get better just standing around

How do you "camp" a 3 gen but not down survivors?
If surv's refuse to do gens because there is a killer nearby then that's them holding the game hostage not the killer.

Actually pretty sure I've seen it confirmed that if a killer camps a 3 gen and basically refuses to leave them at all or get in a proper chase it counts as holding the game hostage.

The killer has to begin a chase but if he goes back to the 3GEN because they don't want to be baited then no l, it's the refusal to chase as in they will just stand there looking at you...now if they see survivors lurking literally near by then no. It's a case by case scenario but more than likely won't result in a ban since most cases survivors are just sore they let themselves fall into the 3gen trap.

Nah that's not right Mandy once talked about the specific situation when doc keeps all survs in madness 3 se they can't break the 3 gen but isn't chasing them or downing them.
You can't be reported for guarding your 3 gen because there would not be a 3 gen tactic if you need to follow the first surv you see like a stupid sheep

Camping is only reportable it its done deliberately over the course of several games, always to the same person. Bc this would count as griefing. But good luck proving that. Maybe if you were a streamer and get harrassed like this multiple times a day, all caught on stream, they would take some action.

Someone at bhvr as said something about it being counted in some specific situations. It was the doctor thing someone else posted, but I think they also said something about if you do it for like over 5 minutes or so it could be counted. I vaguely remember the post and comment, but they have said something about it. I just can't remember exactly.

knew I'd read it somewhere. Mentions it being a bannable offense in this thread I've quoted.
Obvs hearsay in the post but somebody said killers have been banned for this and it's not commented on my devs. But i can see it working both ways. If a killer just sat on a three gen and refused to leave you can't expect survivors to commit suicide to end the game.

The best way to do this is to read the rules for reporting.
In fact, if you report a report with a requirement that the rules say not to report, the reporting system will not work. I am convinced that even at this point there is a large amount of reporting outside of the rules.

What you're calling a "casual camper" is actually called a proxy camper where they check a few gens in the area but stay right close enough to the hook to take advantage of someone going for the rescue, I do find it funny "I'm a killer main, nerf camping", yes because that's exactly what a killer main would say lol

Not about the camping but I saw a few people talk about the Doctor 3-Gen and I found the dev screenshot talking about it. I think there was another but this was all I could find.
As far as the topic goes, it's a solid no. They can't be reported for camping.

Other than Doctor I don't see any Killer that could stall out the game in a punishable manner. Every other Killer would have to hit the survivor to stop gen progress and hooked or bled out the game is still progressing.
