is boon even ok?
distraction, healing, no tracks, self res. all unlimited with no penalty's and also going through floors is so balanced.
like people who don't run boons are just throwing since having 4 on all corners of the map is legit toxic since you need to break all 4 and thats wastes so much time and buffs swf.

but in solo they are useless, because in half the game you have people that break all dull totems even if they know you have boons.

Indeed, this perk was literally introduced to appease the "nerf Boons. Lemme snuff Boons permanently D:" crowd.
I used it a couple of times enthusiastically, but after rather luke warm success maybe every 2nd or 3rd game I opted for something more consistently and fun, again.

Boons have no counter play other than running a perk.

If the survivor's put their boon in a smart place, every killer including mobility killer's are wasting tool much time for it to be worth it to snuff any boon.

My point in saying this is that it takes the piss out of that phrase because it's awful and doesn't work for either side of the game (and yet gets said so much), hence the lol

All limited within a range of 24 meters. Takes time away from doing the main objective.
There's also a very low probability of seeing 4/5 totems blessed up unless you're dealing with a swf doing some sort of shenanigans. Even then, breaking them is optional.

Just do bones or abuse it. Survivors fly to boons like moths to a flame and your job as a Killer is to abuse it. This is why you can decide to kick it or leave it...

No, to be fair. Dark Theory is only good for the achievement and Exboonential is highly situational. However I go some cool plays off with that boon when Killers where to slug happy as it is the only tool to pick up somebody that is being slugged by a camping Killer near a hook...

it would be fair as base kit tbh, since noed was basekit. just seems ######### up its not on both ends. now the boon is abused to hell and the other boons stacking with eachother does not help as all tbh
