"Press Space to continue"
Since any button press or click works to open the game from the main menu, do you guys actually press space or do you something else?
I always press Enter instead of Space to open the game 😋

It used to be that any button except Space would let you continue (and yes, the text was exactly the same as now), so I usually just click.

I usually click. Not sure why this screen even exists but to waste time.

I always just click on it. But tbh they should just get rid of that screen. It's a complete waste of time.

I'm glad the screen exists for the times I spend a minute booting up the game just to decide I don't want to play it.

Peeps, be careful, you are playing a dangerous game here! At the moment there are still enough player who are pressing space to continue, and we should all be glad for this simple fact. Should this number ever drop below a certain threshold, though ... I am not allowed to talk about the consequences, but lets just say that it would make old Ruin, Old DS, Forever Freddy and release MoM look like baby toys. So please do the responsible thing and ONLY press space to continue. Thanks.

The funny thing is that sometimes every button works but space bar.

It used to say "press any key"
But they had to many complaints about people not finding the any key

I got water up my nose laughing at this. Thank you for that. The peak DBD relationship...
But yeah, it's an annoying screen. Doubly so that it doesn't actually load anything while it waits for your input, and you get the same overhead afterwards whether you click it immediately or wait half an hour. C'mon, that's elementary.

I press the power button on my tower. You can't stop me, you're not my dad.

I feel like its there so when a cutscene is about to play you dont miss it if you boot the game and go do something quick.
I think they should remove it and make the cutscene click to start if there is one.
