Question about Hillbilly addons
What does "Collision Zone width" mean? Is it like a zone of collision with objects? So there is less space for you to bump into something that is not a Survivor?

The reduced Collision Zone width means that you are less likely to collide with objects, but because it is reducing the Collision Zone width, you are less likely to hit survivors as well. It's not really that good of an addon due to the downside of it. I would recommend running Shadowborn so you avoid hitting off-screen objects since you can see more and avoid objects with large hitboxes.

Wait, so this addon is also a nerf? Damn, that's pretty bad :/

That's most of Billy's addons for ya, very situational or incredibly bad.
Typically I recommend players to run Death Engravings and Dad's Boots (or Mother's Helpers) since the addons make Billy's power pretty good at back-reving and long-sawing, especially if they are new to Billy since Death Engravings gives them a feel for Engravings without being too much speed to handle.

Yesterday I played both speed addons together, while probably not the best idea since your chainsaw charge time is pretty long, the speed is so insane and fun to use xD

Double Engravings is probably up there in the best addon combo for Billy, once you learn how to curve youll be a menace to society.

Yeah, the vast majority of Billy's addons got destroyed during the "We hate Billy" nerf.

Big Buckle would like to disagree 😎

collision zone is your bump and hit radius. so the addon is bad. use engravings

Engravings are bad, too. Each adds 0.35 seconds to the charge time (.7 combined). Might not sound like much but makes the saw unusable at certain loops.

Yeah but makes MUCH more loops available to play if you know how to curve. If someones not pre dropping every pallet and actually tries to loop it will catch them.

It USED to make a ton more loops playable using curving. These days a lot of newer maps and tiles have just the most bizarre geometry and tend to catch the saw with their forcefields.
Have you watched a Hillbilly try to play Hillbilly (as opposed to M1lly) on Eyrie of Crows?
Saddest thing I've ever seen.

God, I can't unsee that clip of a survivor standing next to one of those low Eyrie rubble tiles, a Billy zooming towards him from across the map, and the survivor calmly watching as Billy slams face first into an invisible wall.
Garden of Suck isn't any better.
Are we sure this is true? Some of the recent data on Wesker when they were tuning his hitbox showed that they have a separate hitbox for environmental objects and for survivors, and that they're not necessarily the same size.

In my opinion, the saw can be used at any loop without engravings.

Personally I find the jungle gyms fine on eyrie but not the random bushes you can collide with.

Yes, I am sure this is true, I even tested it on my original account before moving to PC. Also, I have a lot of hours dumped into Billy, Ive experimented with all of his addons and it is legitimately one of his worst addons, debatably just as bad as Speed Limiter.

Damn. That sucks. If anything, that feels like something that should be brought up in Suggestions with the obvious alternative presented, because having an addon lower the killer's hitbox is just baffling.
Then again, all of Billy's addons seem to be designed with an overly punitive design philosophy in mind... he's not allowed to have anything nice without taking something away from him in turn.
