I'd love a FAITH: THE UNHOLY TRINITY chapter.

Faith: Chapter 3 just came out lately, and it got me thinking:

A faith chapter would be S I C K

John would be the survivor, with Father Garcia as either a secondary survivor or a skin. And even better: both having the option between a normal and fully rendered skin, or the black with color outline look from the games.

Perks could work around them pulling out the crucifix. They can't move while they have the crucifix out, but while they do, they could have different effects on the killer. Slowing, blinding, stunning after long enough in a certain radius.. you could do something with it.

And, of course, the killers would either have to be Gary or Amy.

Gary with his pitchfork, and Amy with her.. big horrifying arm that reaches out of her face.

Gary's power could revolve around a set of demonic minions that he can cycle through and summon a certain amount of. Minions could block pallets or windows, create false red stains, latch onto survivors and spook them with demonic activity until exorcised, even damage them if they come close enough to a set location.. i'm spitballing ideas and this could be balanced however which way, but putting his demonic servants to use in clever and methodical ways would be awesome.

Amy, however, would be much more straightforward. She's not the schemer, she's the powerhouse. Being within her terror radius puts you more and more under her influence: at certain tiers, she gets more powerful against you. At the earliest tier, her apparitions torment you, you leave bloody runes where you walk, and the terror radius is slowly replaced with a static rumbling. The next tier, she can see the aura of her apparitions. The next, she can replace these apparitions from anywhere else on the map. And for the final tier, she can temporarily possess and control a survivor, forcing them to take whatever action she commands for a brief time.

Survivors can cleanse her influence at holy altars spread out across the map, and she has the ability to send out a grasping apparition of herself through obstacles to shoot a survivor to the final tier, or possess them if they're at the final one.

Spitballing ideas, but it would be amazing to see-- especially if they still had their unbelievably janky Atari-style voices.

What do you think?

Think the game is too new and not popular enough (though that may be changing) for them to do a chapter. From a game and horror perspective it could be pretty interesting.

I'm down for a chapter inspired by the Faith games. It'd be really cool to see how they translate it to DbD.

Also if they do it they should definitely replace the Sacrificed/Dead match result with MꚚRTIS.

a big part of what makes faith good is the artstyle and i feel we would lose that if it came to dbd. maybe some cosplay cosmetics instead?

I love the faith series and I'm so glad they made the 3rd one.

A chapter would be nice with a demon killer

True. Imagine, though: black and color models like the rotoscope cutscenes. Extra crunchy voice clips from the game. A MORTIS when you die.
