For some reason the Leon bots I run into are very cocky. Plenty of crouching mid chase and dodging attacks !

Without that habit of theirs to hide in front of the killer and vault three times in a row, they would be pretty decent.

They run the moment they hear your heartbeat. They have ESP for hatchets thrown at them.
But they are dumb when you get close. They run to the edgeof the map and crouch partially behind a wall mid chase.

Where’s the dignity in just killing bots?? Isint it more rewarding to down actual players rather then some fixated NPC? Where is this game going?

It's about training.
And bots don't rage-quit and don't cry when you slug them for a minute.

I play Knight, I use power to chase BOT Kate with Guard.
Hunt starts, Guar drops the flag on the one side of the small window loop, bot Kate just runs around that small loop and picks the flag and gg ezi. Chase ended in like 3 seconds lol.

Having options is always a good thing. Sometimes people don't want to feel stressed from versing actual players. Maybe they had a bad day or something and just want a more casual experience. Some players just want to practice before an actual player match for training or to loosen up after having not played for a while. And maybe some just like versing bots more in general for fun like how people did in Friday the 13th the Game. Everyone has different reasons for playing the gamemodes they want to, everyone has different preferences in general, and I think that's great.

Those bots are going to play very different compared to good survivors especially when perks are involved and besides there’s always custom kyf and kill the bots as trapper in the getting started menu.

Just practice and there is nothing wrong with that :) they will not replace the real game. Believe me I enjoy bringing my meme builds to real players 😂

Had a Jane actually tea-bagging me.
later when she was the last survivor and I had closed the hatch she went afk and got crows. Could down her without her moving but then she start wiggling and I notice she is in a corner where two books were already used/destroyed.
also not sure if it was the same match or before /after but two survs were killed on hook, one didn’t even struggle and the other was left for dead.
its a Videogame. Who said anything about dignity? Let people play how they want..
many people requested this feature to practice killers powers without the pressure of a real match.

There is also the thing of just walking around the maps and explore and looking up close at all the details, without ruining another players experience or getting disrupted by t-bagging and flashlight clicking attention seekers.

its not about killing them its about practice and learning a new killers power without the need to wait until you safely got 1 more grade because you dont want to depip just because you play a new killer.
And also if the bots get better like they can run perks or something, then they are great for custom matches with friends if you cant get more than 2 other people to play.

What makes you think there is dignity in playing with or against Survivors that screw around, sandbag, gamethrow, or engage in toxic behavior?

The bots play very differently than actual survivors, but it's sometimes good to train with a killer power you're not familiar with. You don't need an actual player to get used to Nemesis' tentacle hitbox, or to the delay between Doctor's electroshocks and the survivor getting incapacitated at loops.
These you can practice in a KYF, but there are things you might want to train in that can be extremely tedious for your friend. I was once the target of my friend practicing his Blight flicks for like 30min (not the chase... only flicks), because he couldn't get into a custom game alone, and believe me it was a snooze fest ! X)
