Gen-Slow Perks

How many of these perks do you use in your own build, and which are they?

I run Jolt + Pain Resonance on my M1 killers, which doesn't work so well on some other killers I play. Just looking for ideas for things to use, basically.

I like Jolt when I want to think as little as humanly possible.

I run Pain Res Gift of Pain Plaything Pentimento when I'm possessed of a special kind of misanthropy.

I usualy run Shadowborn, Lightborn and then Enduring, Bamboozle (if the Killer can't deal with windows) or Agitation (if they can deal with windows).

I play just "feels good" perks to have fun rather than for winning.

Only problem is that Trapper bit suffers early since It is free 1 gen lose 🤣.

Before genrush wasn't this enormous problem I used pain resonance + dms and deadlock. Now I recommend to focus on chase build and use deadlock, pain resonance won't change anything because 15% for survivors is like 3 seconds. Last time I played I used pyramid with lethal pursuer, no way out, deadlock and I'm all ears, but it depends on which killer you want to use. Since you said m1 killer, I recommend for them to run noed and maybe force penance because their vulnerable to bodyblock. Maybe if you want I can recommend eruption as a gen defence perk, also because with the new perk of the knight it would be good because you kick a gen and potentially instant go for a chase and maybe down someone so eruption pop the gen.

Pain res is in 20% of all killer games for me in the last two months, other than that 0 gen slowdown. I am 11 months sober to kicking gens and even the new perk won't make me go back. At first it was just a meme, but it will never change now.

Slobby, BBQ, Pain res and Brine/Jolt. Keep switching between those 2. Still even with these i feel like the gens sometimes just goes too fast. So i fully understand people using 4 gen defense perks.

since before the recent halloween event i used to run Overbrine (overcharge+call of brine) sometimes. But during the event as things got more sweaty i started to run it on EVERYONE. Paired with thrilling tremors for having gens blocked plus some kind of aura reading when picking up survivors.

I feel like if i run anything else aside from these 3 perks TOGETHER gens are going to be done left and right within only 4 minutes. So yeah. Overcharge, call of brine and Thrilling tremors with some additional perk which i always change. Sometimes i use corrupt instead of thrilling but only on killers that need time to get going like hag, trapper or myers.

The only Slowdown I run is Corrupt Intervention on Trapper and Sloppy Butcher on some Killers. No need for more.

Overcharge is a must now on all builds to keep some pressure going but it usually is

Overcharge, Sloppy, Corrupt Intervention, Iron Grasp.

That's my all around balance build for everything I need but if I'm feeling very....mean I go Overcharge, CoB, Sloppy, Hex Pen.....but that's if I got stomped by BMing survivors and woe for the next teams I need to blow off steam with....

    Only Overcharge usually.

My usual M1 builds are mostly Discordance, Sloppy, Overcharge and then a last perk depending on my mood or the killer I'm playing.

I like Corrupt Intervention + Deadlock on slow killers and No Way Out + Deadlock on faster killers. I think passive slowdown is way better than active regression.

I only run jolt on those killers that M1 the most (wraith trapper nurse spirit etc) so I don't need to kick gens + free bloodpoints.

Deadlock on those where I M2 the most. If I feel less confident or don't know what other perk to use I'll add corrupt sometimes, but on my mains jolt or deadlock are enough

I run Jolt on a few killers and keep trying to run Pain Res but I get screwed over by bad hook placement that I usually just switch to other stuff. Corrupt on Trapper obviously and CoB on a couple of other dudes but I don't tend to run too much slowdown, much prefer Sloppy + Nurses on most of them.

Depends on the killer as we try to make thematic builds. Doc and demo run 3 while trickster and pig have 0 (though gift of pain and thano are in play).

I don't use gen slow down perks unless I play Trapper or Hag, then I may use corrupt.

It depends on what I want to in the next match

Sometimes I only use Corrupt other times I run Call Of Brine and Eruption

In a pub? 1, maybe 2. Corrupt or Pain Res. I refuse to run Eruption. Hate the design.

Good ol' Corrupt + Deadlock. Pain Res sometimes, but feels bad if a scourge hook is not nearby.
