Bite The Bullet is underrated

Fun Fact: Pretty much the only reason i bought Leon Kennedy was for Flashbang, and while i adore Flashbang with every fibre of my being (much to the chagrin of many killers I've played against), Bite The Bullet has recently become a perk i quite like running whenever I'm bored of blurting out random CSGO lines and getting facecamped for it.

To put it simply, Bite The Bullet makes you and whoever you're healing completely silent, no moans of pain, no bandage sound effects, no nothing, hell, there's even no sounds for failing a skillcheck, with the lost progress being so minuscule it might as well not even be there, this perk combined with Fixated (I'm not calling it Self-Aware and i never will) has gotten me out of so many chases it isn't even funny, to put this into perspective for you, I've been wearing Jake's Autumn Chill set since the Haunted by Daylight event started, which, in case you aren't aware, does this

I literally couldn't be less stealthy with this outfit if i goddamned tried to be, and yet, somehow, thanks to Bite The Bullet, i can completely disappear from the killer's general view just by healing myself in a corner, despite wearing bright neon yellow that might as well come with a note that reads "good luck hiding while wearing these lol", then once I'm fully healed, i use Fixated to get away faster while leaving no traces that i was ever there. Whenever i manage to get away with doing this i cannot help but laugh

I find BTB to work best when combined with Circle of Healing, mainly due to the fact that i don't bring items all that often unless a tome challenge mandates that i do, just bless any random totem, find a corner to hide in that's right on the edge of its AOE, then heal for free while the killer is either busy looking for you or the boon, if they get close to the boon, start running away, not only does this combo help you, it helps your teammates too, since they also benefit from the perk's effects.

Another perk that works quite well with BTB is Solidarity oddly enough, if you're healing someone else with BTB while injured, you'll be at 50% by the time you're done, which means they spend less time healing you and therefore you have to spend less time making noise, i genuinely recommend running these two perks together along with CoH if you're doing any tome challenges that require healing, it works so damn well.

That's about it for my thoughts on Bite The Bullet, it's a amazing stealth perk that can get you out of some pretty tough spaces and prevent the killer from even knowing you're there in the first place, plus it has some decent synergies with other perks, which are always fun.
