Slugging after a survivor DC's

Just had 3 matches in a row, playing solo survivor, where a survivor DC'd.

It ruins the game, not just for killers, but the remaining survivors.

Surely killers are aware of this, so my question is this, why do some killers decide to slug in the same match for the 4k?

My experience has already been ruined by a selfish survivor, I stay in the match knowing I cannot win, but then having to spend the last 5 minutes of the match alternating between being slugged, being picked up and instantly downed again.

I don't have an issue with slugging itself, in a 4v1 match, but when the match stops being this, I just don't get the point.

Let me be clear, I'm not saying all killers do this, but in those 3 matches, this happened twice.

It's the equivalent of tbagging in the exit gate. Gotta rub that last bit of salt in the wound. It's a big reason why I'm currently on a break - lack of sportsmanship.

Had this the other day with a nemesis. One of my mates had an internet outage and DCd. The nemmy then decided to slug all 3 of us at 5 gens. Messaged him after asking why he didn't just stretch the game out a bit. Bit more BP all round. More pips for him.

All I got was salt and insults lol.

I had a similar game last week where an Oni slugged us all at 4 gens. With the bonus bp on survivor we all actually got more points than him. Seemed a bit pointless.

I had a Wesker yesterday who was screwing around with the other three survivors in the basement- hooking and unhooking. I did two gens. He slugged all three of them, sacrificed two of them and then surprise surprise came after me.

Now I completely get the slugging, the other survivors were clearly griefing at worst... but I was trying to play the game. If that were me as a killer I'd have let the fourth go. I don't get the point of lazy 4ks.

Personally I only slug the person that gives up the first 30 seconds of the match. If you want to quit you have to DC, I'm not letting you get the easy way out with no penalty.

You mean the last survivor vultured for hatch instead of saving the slug?

Survivors are not entitled to killer pity or mercy.

Some people want to play the worst kind of way possible.

Is all good, Basekit Unbreakable update should fix it, hopefully.

You should be mad at the survivor that ragequit, because the ruined game is their fault.

I mean, if you really wanna guarantee not getting back up, you can just click W or L1 or the Xbox equivalent to cancel the person healing you

The killer can play how they want, if one dced and they let 1 go its only a 2k. If anything dcing increases the need to secure "all" kills if they want. For some challenge or maybe just want points.

noone is forced to play how YOU want. Stop trying to gaslight playstyles and rather be mad at the one that dc'ed.

The killer isn't required to play nice, because a survivor d/c'd.

Seriously, why should a killer play nice if the survivors arent having a nice time. Where is the survivor etiquette if they see a killer with 1 hook through the entire game and they did like nearly all gens. All they do if flash and mock you. Like I have little empathy left for survivors since they like to make killers feel like #########.
