Bots bringing players in to DBD.
I personally know of three people that are going to start playing DBD because they can now play killer vs bots. My brother and a couple other friends who never wanted to play because of the competitive pvp of this game. But they love horror and always wanted to play their favorite killers. My brother in particular always wanted to try Pinhead but didnt want to deal with the unsportsmanlike and toxic behavior of people who play this game online. Love that behavior finally made this change.

Nice! it doesnt only make a few sells maybe, possibly it also brings some more people to the lobbys. While they might not wanna play online matches from the get go, they might later.

Hell, I'd play killer again vs bots. As long as they get better over time or have an adjustable difficulty setting. It'd be great to actually customize bot behavior too, to get better at certain things.
For example: A setting that the bot is a "Looper" so when you find them they can do easy loops to more difficult ones, this way you can improve as a killer.
Play against bots would be more fun than people at this point anyways, which is actually pretty unfortunate.

I mean, i gotta say. The bots are pretty decent for being bots. BHVR has somehow made them very stable. Well maybe its very precise, fullout cleaned pathing, but still, for being bots, they are impressive.
They only get stuck at using corner tiles once you chased them towards there, but i bet they are a little refined from the PTB.
and not to mention how they DODGE hatchets, the harpune and throwing knives! Also never forget that feng bot that ran TOWARDS me to stunn me with a pallet so she could have another few seconds more time XD they are not that far from players, ofc they will never represent 1 to 1.

Yeah this is great. Now if you only had some way to block toxic losers from matching with you, maybe those players would fade away or stop being jerks

I mean there's finally a chance to START as a new killler player without being bullied into oblivion by survivors. Ofc it's gonna appeal people.

2.7k hours here. Only replying to this to say that it won't JUST be used for newbies either. This will have a grasp on all sides of the playerbase from old and new. I'm doing it because I hate people. :>

A good idea actually. Practice against loppers and gen rushers would be pretty useful to many.

I agree it would be cool if they had like an easy, medium, hard difficulty of the bots. Maybe on hard they try to rush gens and have a tendency to predrop pallets or something to that degree. But I'll take anything with the bots right now. When I have challenges and tomes to do I'll play public, when I wanna chill play vs bots.

Man if you could earn shards and BP from bots that would be amazing. You wouldn't have to ever play against sweat with friends that breaks the game anymore
