I'm so glad that bots are finally here today!
The last time I played a killer that I had never played before - Ghostface - it was against a 4 man SWF that could clearly tell that I had never played him before (or really killer in general), and they all proceeded to take advantage of that. They would flashlight click and teabag all throughout the match. Every time I tried to stalk a survivor stealthily, there was always another one right behind me breaking me out of my cloak, because they could communicate to each other at all times where I was. Needless to say I never played another match because I didn't need to sweat that hard all the while trying to learn the ropes.
There are so many killers that I haven't touched because I never wanted to encounter that same situation again. I play less than 5 hours of DBD a week. Between work and parenting I don't have a whole lot of time to play games, and at the end of the day I just want to have some chill matches, and bots is the perfect answer to that. Naturally it gives me a great way to practice, but unless I'm truly in the need for blood points or shards, I'm perfectly content never hopping into a live match ever again. Thank you BHVR!

I'm excited for bots too! Don't need the BP other than when new characters come out, and although I enjoy playing online, there will be days where I just want to hop on for an hour here and there for a chilled one and will probably use bots for that.

I am glad that it will make things better for you. Once you practice enough come back and show them what you got on live! Humans are what make DBD unpredictable.

Agreed. Bots will be great to practice killers like Huntress or Nurse and also those I hardly ever played.

I hope they add the ability to try out killers that players don't own to this mode as well, even if it's limited to one game per locked killer.

I think DBD mobile has that in the way of a special ticket that allows you to try out killers that you don't own as a way to entice you to buy it. It would be nice if DBD does something similar.

They had this feature as an offering.

I hope that we get some AI tweeking options, like bots playing for chase, geniuses, sneaky or refusing to finish the last gen so you can explore the map etc.

Time to learn Nurse.

I've experienced some really great matches with portions of the community, but sadly those are a few and far between. And when you don't know what you're doing, the fun factor really tanks, so I'm really glad that I now have a way to practice outside of live matches.

A lot of games that use bots allow you to select the level of difficulty that caters best to you. It'd be nice to see something similar down the road sometime.

I tried ONI again, and I noticed I had Ruin equipped, Ruin is now useless. 🤣
