What is the purpose of solo Q survivors?

Other than to entertain killers by making them feel good about themselves while they wait for their next SWF.

i wanna say u just being negative but honestly I'm starting to question it myself. Things are more balance yet it feel like the survivors im pair with are less skill than ever.

half the time someone dc/kobe or just crouch the whole game.

To resist desperately without voice chat.

To save yourself or your friends in the misty forest with a once-in-a-lifetime companion. To cooperate, to sacrifice oneself, and sometimes to sacrifice one's friends.

It's harder and more interesting than working together to escape with friends you know and taking advantage outside of the game. i think SWF has its own fun, but the main fun of it all comes down to playing with friends.

Solo is fun. You put thought into every possible possibility and resource without voice chatting and then you do it. In that sense, it's like a killer.

There is a lot of uncertainty because you can't control the movements of other survivors, but you enjoy the chaos.

Maybe is not an unwinnable hellscape, but everyday i am seeing more and more how shockingly easy it is to lose a game while playing soloQ.

In every match, and i mean every match i feel this constant state where if one single survivors makes 1 or 2 early mistakes is more than enough for the killer to just snowball his way to a 4k effortlesly with no way to stop it.

And this is getting really stressful over time.

Solo q has always been bad. It's only worse now because of the inclusion of challenges and people too eager to give up. I don't know why people are suddenly bringing it up like it's new. It's always been the case since they removed infinities, double pallets, and reworked the worst maps. Like yeah, when flashlights made your eyes burn, I would say it went killers -> solo q -> SWF, but after all those buffs and the new base killer buffs and nerfs to shift w. It's been solo q -> killers -> SWF. So yeah, it's been the case for a while now.

Solo queue is pure DBD. The original concept. There can be difficult matches but magic can happen as well. Some of my most memorable matches were the result of 4 strangers banding together in the Solo queue.

That's pretty much it, it's to give bad to average killers wins so they keep playing the game.

pretty much what everyone said, I would add so the killer mains on youtube/twitch can go on winning streaks, and then people who are maybe interested in the killer role (because lbr DBD's aesthetic and roster will always be amazing) might give it go since they will be like oh wow this looks fun

I did have some amazing solo q teammates and games but those are so far in between.
