I noticed the new map has not been deactivated
The new map has a million pallets. I'm seeing streamers just leaving when they get it. This either a bug or very poor design. It needs to be disabled until it is fixed.

It’s been confirmed by a mod that there is a bug that one tile on the map spawns too many pallets.
apparently this isn’t considered gamebreaking enough for BHVR to killswitch it

There is a bug, but the devs are refusing to killswitch it. If you want to play killer, “tough luck” seems to be their response to this. Kind of makes you wonder how broken a map has to be to actually be disabled.

Well, that’s what the comment said, I don’t know if other tiles are affected or how it’s actually been filed in the devs bug database..

I was sent there twice last night. It was a sweet and sour blessing due to the "Break 15 pallets" archive, but I only was able to hook everyone once as Wraith. It just go to a point where chasing had gotten dull because we'd both stop at a pallet and I'd nod to just drop it because the pacing is already dead to me.
If they could at least get rid of 30 pallets (lol), that map would be tolerable for killer AND chases.

I think what they mean by one tile is not "only one place on the map is affected" but "one type of tile (ex: jungle gym) is affected", and since this tile is present in multiple places on the map, there are much more pallets than there normally would. So only one tile is bugged, but it affects the whole map.

But The Game barely has window vaults and only one very weak jungle gym, the new map has The Game pallet density and still has normal vault spawns and jungle gyms.
