Should Field-Of-View changes be an Options slider, and not tied to perks/event items?
The default Killer FOV is 87 degrees; this can be only increased by 10 with Monitor & Abuse temporarily, and Shadowborn by 15 at the cost of having no other effect on a valuable perk slot.
Survivor FOV is only affected by the Refined Serum addon for medkits.
Both of these MAY get affected by the Last Standing game event if BHVR does not change that part when it goes live.
FOV should not be tied to perks or items only. Some people do genuinely get motion sick if they play below a certain FOV, or it becomes straining if they are playing on a large monitor.

Why do people in this community try to deny the advantage that FOV gives?
I'm fine with removing FOV changes from perks and adding a slider, but if anyone here has played or seen Sea of Thieves, you might know that cranking up the FOV is always recommended to new players, and for a strong reason: It lets you see far more of what's around you, giving you a very noticeable advantage.
Sure, a slider also helps a vocal minority of people, and I would rather they just rip the band-aid and add a slider, but I don't understand why bringing up the advantage is almost actively denied. There IS an advantage, we've seen it in games, there's no denying the evidence.
